Despite the hope swelling in his heart Stiles shook his head."His the Grand Master, why would he waste his time with me?"
"Because his our ruler, his job is to waste time on us" Madam Rucia said, smiling gently.
He frowned, looking up at her.
"How?"
"We both know someone who comes from the Soul District who can talk to the Grand Master for you, don't we?"
Stiles eyes widened in realisation.
"Kirah" He breathed.
Madam Rucia nodded.
"Hey, we said only five minutes!" A Core Mind sorcerer snapped from outside Stiles cell.
She rolled her eyes but straightened, preparing to leave but Stiles said, not eager to be left alone.
"Wait! Why-why did you help me?" He asked slowly.
She seemed fair but still, with how long he had known her, Madam Rucia didn't seem the type to do this.
She hesitated at the door but then she told him "Because despite what you believe, I do actually quite like you"
Then with that she left, closing the door behind her. The Core Mind Sorcerous locked it behind her.
Once again leaving Stiles to his thoughts.
This time there was silence, it wasn't actually a peaceful silence but it was much better than the screaming.
All he could do now was wait.
So he did.
Stiles couldn't tell how long had passed, there were no windows, no proper light that would indicate if it was day or night.
He wondered if he would die of boredom but he knew that being bored was much, much better than the alternative.
He was reminded this even more when the door opened and a sorcerer he hadn't seen before stepped inside.
Stiles couldn't tell if it had been a few hours or a couple of days.
He was that screwed up in the head.
He quickly stepped backwards, noticing quickly there was something about this sorcerous that he did not like.
His magic stirred uneasily inside him, as if agreeing with his assessment.
"Well, well, I have heard a lot about you. Though it seems you've been causing some trouble for the Lord" The sorcerer said.
"Who are you?" Stiles growled.
The sorcerer was pale, with odd orange eyes and dirty blonde hair dragging downwards.
He smiled at Stiles but there was no friendliness to it, none at all.
"The Lords current sorcerer for this seems to have gone missing, so I was sent as a gift by the Lord of Fire, to fill in the gap" He chuckles.
Something hot sliced through Stiles chest once he understood what that meant.
Fritz, he was talking about Fritz.
She was the only sorcerer missing from the Lord of Mind's servants.
Fill in the gap.
Stiles breathed in sharply, backing up against the wall.
"You're taking her place"
He grinned with sharp teeth.
"Of course, can't expect a Lord not to have a torturer can you?"
"Why are you here, I assume my Lord didn't just want to show me who was taking Fritz's place out of pleasantries" Stiles said, his voice clipped but also shaking a little.
"You're right about that" He said, looking like he was trying to look sorry for Stiles but instead it just made him look constipated.
"I thought I was just going to get executed, why this? Why drag it out!" Stiles growled.
"The Lord isn't very happy with you. Mark my words, he will kill you, no matter what but well...you need to confess first, confess out loud your crime for him to have the right to execute you"
The man walked closer to Stiles as he said, eyes glowing slightly "But the Lord believed you wouldn't be so forth coming and I must say, I agree"
Stiles own fear was turning into anger.
"So you're going to torture the confession out of me!?"
The screams in his head had started again.
No...
Never again.
The bastard smiled "I'm glad you understand, now where shall we-?"
He stopped.
If possible he turned paler.
Stiles felt a heat in his eyes and a heat scathing his skin. The warmth he always felt from his magic, swimming inside his blood, turned to a scorching heat.
He knew his eyes must be glowing.
Stiles was to caught up in his own anger to realise that his magic was visible, sparking angrily across his skin, like golden electricity or even...lightning.
He barely registered his hand coming up, making a shoving motion. His Training on levitation quickly forming in his mind.
The sorcerer flew back wards, into the door.
Stiles bared down on him. His eyes flashing golden and hazel furiously. His body was filling up to the brink with energy.
Protecting him.
Serving him.
The sorcerer's eyes widened in panic and fear.
"Like hell you will, like hell" Stiles snarled, his voice deep and dark.
No one would lay another hand on him again, not without his permission. Not ever!
