"Why hadn't he confessed?!" The Lord of Mind snapped. The Lords had left, he was on a warning, if they hear a whiff of anything that goes wrong in the Mind District, under his watch then his title and power would be taken away.

To say he was stressed was a oversight.

Now it seemed, he couldn't even control his own prisoners.

It had been a couple of days since he had shut Mieczyslaw away and he had severely injured two of his own recent tortures. They had gone in to get a confession out of him.

They both came out battered and bruised. Barely able to move.

One of them had babbled about golden energy, tearing into him ferociously.

But their magic shouldn't behave that erratically.

Though Mieczyslaw used to be human he thought with disgust, maybe his magic is inferior somehow, that could explain its behaviour.

"Our energy is known to act out if we experience deep trauma and something triggers it. Our magic reacts to that, maybe that's why. His probably remembering Fritz torture in that room, poor thing" Roseleta said, standing next to him.

It was odd sometimes, like she could read his mind.

"It was your idea to put him back in that particular cell in the first place" He snapped.

"Honey-" She said, reaching for his shoulder, he moved away from her, shrugging her of him.

"I still haven't forgiven you" He spat.

"Yes, I gathered that by the way you haven't been speaking to me since then. But he kissed me, honey, you know I would never do that to you" She said gently.

The Lord of Mind said, ignoring her "If his magic continues to act up I'll have to figure something else out to make him confess. Maybe if he realises he'll never leave that cell he will confess? Loneliness does wonders with prisoners"

Roseleta scowled as she asked "Why not just replace the second one? There are plenty of sorcerous out there who would make an good torturer"

"What? And end up sending them to the medical bay as well?! It's no use, I'll need to figure something else out"

"Why are you so rushed? You have loads of time"

Because he didn't want the other Lords to figure out he was incompetent. The memory in the court room with them all was still vivid and would probably stay like that for the rest of his life.

But he couldn't show any weakness..

Not in front of them, not in front of everyone.

Especially not in front of Roseleta.

He didn't respond.

The Lord of Fire was already asking why their sorcerer was no longer in the position.

He was avoiding that conversation.

"I will get him to confess and soon" The Lord of Mind growled.

Who knows?

Maybe breaking the kid would be easier that he thought. He won't last days in there the Lord of Mind thought.

Two weeks past..

Stiles was going out of his mind with boredom, he had only gotten how long he'd been in here for after he'd begged and irritated the Core Mind sorcerous enough to tell him.
