No one says anything after that. Scotts mouth hung open slightly as they walked, everyones gaze fixed on Stiles. So they left him there for six years? His three years older than me? It just felt weird.

Stiles slowed down, everyone followed his lead. Stiles glanced around, a slow smile appeared on his face. Derek did not like the look of that smile.

"Well, this looks familiar, don't you think Erica?" He asked mockingly.

Erica stiffened slightly, eyes widening.

Stiles smirked broadly and his eyes flashed golden as he said with a sneer "Come on, Keep up"

Before she could respond Stiles sent the pack a grin then started to run, run in the direction of their town. Derek swore under his breath then they all started to run after Stiles. Derek caught up first, Stiles was running fast, easily avoiding the roots and the trees.

"Hey there wolf" Stiles said with a smirk.

"Its Derek" He snarled back.

Stiles chuckled "Have to say you're pretty fast"

"So are you" Derek grumbled, he glanced back to see his pack was still behind, trying to keep up with them.

Scott finally caught up, breathing fast as he levelled with them.

"I didn't know sorcerers could move this fast"

Derek scowled as he growled "They can't, his just channeling his magic through his legs"

"While you're just using your supernatural speed to keep up with me, I don't see the difference" Stiles retorted.

Scott smiled then, hoping to get some points with Stiles as he said "I can keep up"

Stiles raised his eyebrows at him, he glanced at Derek then Scott, his smirk widened as his eyes glinted gold.

"Can you? Or am I just slowing down for you?"

Scotts eyes widened then before he and Derek could react Stiles suddenly vanished, one minute he was there, then he moved so fast that they could barely make out his movements as Stiles ran on ahead. Derek cursed under his breath.

He turned back to his pack "Come on, hurry up!"

Stiles wasn't waiting for them at the end of the forest, they all glanced at each other but they knew where he had gone.

A couple of minutes they were at the Sheriff's house. Stiles hadn't gone in yet, he was standing outside. He looked up as they approached, he smirked at them.

He pretended to look at his wrist as if he had an invisible watch on it. Stiles sniggered "Did you lot have a picnic or something?"

Despite the relaxed look Scott noticed how Stiles hands were fidgeting and he had taken of his cloak, showing a rich green long sleeved t-shirt underneath. It was tightly wrapped around him. Clearly showing of his broader physique. While his pants was black but their colour seemed strange, as if they could reflect the light coming from the sun.

Well of course he'd be nervous, he was going to meet his father, who Stiles hadn't seen in six years.

Scott said trying to be reassuring "I can go in with you if you want"

Surprisingly Stiles did not shove of the comforting words. He didn't say anything to them or react, Stiles gaze on the house in front of him. He glanced at the pack and Derek though for the first time he could see the boy from before, the venerability and how uncertain he looked.

Stiles walked to the door of the house, Scott trailing behind him.

His hand raised and hesitated for a second but then knocked on the door a couple of times.

There was silence and then finally after a couple of seconds but it probably almost felt like hours for Stiles, the door opened. The Sheriff stood before them, his eyes widening as he saw Stiles, he  breathed in sharply.

"Am I dreaming?" He asked finally.

Stiles let out a laugh but there were tears in his eyes "Funny, thats what I feel like saying"

The Sheriff stared at Stiles for a moment then before anyone could react he grabbed his son and pulled him into a bone crushing hug.

"Stiles, you-your really here, you're here"

Stiles stiffened in the hug though finally he relaxed into it, hugging his dad back. His expression smoothing out and softening, looking at his father in a way that Scott had almost thought Stiles had forgotten how.

The sorcerer finally pulled out of his fathers hug. His smile was full of warmth. A warmth that the pack had not seen since they'd seen him.

"Dad" He said, his voice cracking.

The Sheriff slowly was able to pull himself together, however tears still slipped down his cheeks. Tears full of joy. His son was finally home.

"How? How did you escape? I thought-I thought I'd never see you again?!" Stiles father said, voice trembling.

Confusion crossed Stiles expression.

"Escape?"

Then realisation and something cold flashed in his eyes as he turned to the pack then Scott, narrowing his eyes.

"Now that is a long story, do you want to tell him? Or should I?
