Sickening Realm

Stiles left the pack there for a couple of days and in those days not once did Derek tell the pack at what this cell meant to Stiles.

He'd already believed that Stiles should tell the pack, not him.

It was Stiles story to tell...

Stiles came back after a couple of days, the door swinging open and with a glow of a ruin that curved around near his neck. The sorcery upon the door was broken the mountain ash removed. The pack all stared at him.

Stiles clapped his hands together "Okay, what are you all waiting for?"

He got them to follow him with a gesture. The pack let out a breath as they left the holdings of the cell. It had almost started to feel suffocating in there.

Scott had noticed that Derek especially seemed to be affected by staying in that cell. He seemed to grow more anxious, paler and paler as the hours and days went on. Now he was looking at Stiles in a way that Scott couldn't understand. Something must of happened between them before the pack woke up, something big.

They walked the way they came. Silence between them spread, the pack not knowing what to say to each other, or Stiles.

Until Scott couldn't take the silence anymore.

"Stiles, what happened to you?" He asked, though it came out harsher than he meant it too.

Stiles glanced at him, he said calmly "A lot of things" But he didn't elaborate.

They got to town, was it him or was there a lot of other Sorcerous staring at them? No, not at them, at Stiles?

Stiles grinned, showing sharp teeth as he told the pack "As you can see I'm quite popular"

Then with a ruin that Derek assumed was hidden under his cloak Stiles waved a hard and the portal that they came through, came up from under the ground.

Stiles almost seemed to hesitate then but he pushed on. Frowning as he stepped through the portal first.

Boyd was last to go through but he noticed something very strange before he did.

The ground beneath his feet had started to die. Grass and the unusual plants had shrivelled up. Why hadn't he noticed this before? Even the ground almost looked black as if something was sucking it's nutrients away.

Boyd couldn't stop himself from shivering before he followed the pack. A little freaked out.

Once he stepped inside he couldn't stop himself from asking.

"Stiles! Your plants, the ground, what gives?" He snapped.

How did they not notice it before?

A flash of surprise went through Stiles eyes but it vanished so quickly Boyd had to worry if it had even been there.

The pack all looked confused, did they not notice it?

"Huh, you can see through it, ah well it doesn't work with people who pay more attention to their surroundings than most" Stiles said, almost to himself.

Derek tensed.

"What is going on?!"

Stiles just rolled his eyes as he walked forward, heading towards the caves exit.

"Relax wolf, it's nothing dangerous. Just an illusion put over the wold so it doesn't freak other supernaturals out. Though your beta seems to be able to see through it. As we created it, it's a little different from most lands so it'll get well...sick every couple of years. It's an easy fix"

Stiles glanced at them, a smile on his face but it was not warm "In fact, it should be starting to heal by the time I get back"

Scott didn't say a word but there was just something in those words that just set him on edge or maybe it was his tone. Scott wasn't sure, just something about that sentence screamed wrong.

He used to be able to read Stiles like a book and now he just... couldn't.

"It's only been three years and you've changed so much" Scott muttered, shaking his head.

Stiles stopped suddenly.

The whole pack stopped, tensing as Stiles turned to Scott.

But he looked confused?

"Three years?" Stiles muttered

The sorcerer shook his head then said frowning "I thought I told you..."

"Told us what?" Erica asked, scowling.

"Time works differently in my world"

Scott tried not to flinch as the use of my world.

Stiles looked at the pack, meeting all their eyes then turning back to Scott. His eyes staring into Scotts own. His voice was hard.

"It hadn't been three years for me, it's been six"
