Just as Derek digested this information the ground once again began to shake but it was far far more powerful.

He had to steady himself against the wall, eyes wide.

Was this an...earthquake?

Madam Rucia steadied herself against the wall. He then heard shouts from outside and crashes of things falling down.

Madam Rucia swore under her breath then suddenly rushed to the door, swinging it open then slamming it shut behind her.

"Hey! Wait!" Derek snapped but as he reached out for the door he was met met with an invisible barrier.

Mountain Ash?

Or the ruin she had talked about?

He couldn't see any on the floor but something was definitely blocking his exit. He pushed harder, nothing budged.

"Derek?!"

Erica had woken up, she was staring around at her surroundings, completely freaked out. The ground moved underneath them. Trembling and moaning.

As if the very floor would soon split apart and engulf them into its awaiting mouth.

"What-what's going on?" She cried.

"Do I look like I know?!" He shouted back over the noise of the earthquake.

Dust started to pour down from the ceiling. Engulfing the cell. Isaac and Scott both stirred at that, their coughs and cries stirring the air.

Derek snarled "Don't take deep breaths in you idiots!"

But it was difficult not to breath in the mounting dust and tiny debris that he was sure could block up their lungs.

The light which was coming from the door and the strange ball of energy above dimmed and soon the pack could barely see anything.

Dust crowding their vision.

There where more cries from outside and then....

It stopped.

Just like that and just as suddenly.

"Derek..." Isaac said shakily, eyes wide.

All the wolves looked to their alpha in reassurance.

Derek hesitated but...

"It's okay, it'll be okay, are you all okay?" He asked them carefully.

They all nodded.

"I think he is too, he'll probably wake up soon, how did he stay unconscious for all that?" Erica muttered, glaring at Boyd.

"His lucky" Scott said shakily, worried about the freak earthquake.

Derek looked upwards, noting the cracks on the ceiling, it had...almost fallen on them and if that had happened...He shuddered, not even their supernatural strength and healing could have saved them from that weight.

Erica looked around, the dust clearing enough for her to make out the surroundings.

"We're in a cell?"
