"What" i said looking at her as if she was crazy.

I swung my legs over the bed and got up, swaying slightly.

I shook my head. The woman reached out for me and i jerked away I ran to the door, it slid opened and i ran out of it. I knew the woman was following me, but i didn't know where to go. This was a different hall from what i was use to, everything was a different shade of white, almost blinding. But i didn't care.

I ran down the hall, turning left and right, passing up nurses and some patients. I didn't know why i was running, maybe it was because i was scared, i was in a strange place. I looked 15 still, but it was 40 years after the last memory i had.

The next thing i knew an arm came across my stomach and stopped me.

"Hey there, slow down." a voice said.

I started struggling trying to get away.

The person put both of their arms around me locking them. Eventually i gave up. We were on the floor, i was sitting on the persons lap leaning back against them. A girl with a mop was standing next to us.

"Hey Mads, isn't that the coma patient."they said.

I didn't look at her. I didn't want to. i wanted to know what was going on.

The person holding on to me kept their grip strong.

"Moon?" they said.

I turned around and looked at them. It was a girl, at first it didn't look like it, it looked like a boy, with the short hair. Her eyes were hazel, her hair was chestnut. Her cheeks were full and rosy. And so were her lips.

"How do you know my name." i said.

"Some patients here look after those who can't look over themselves, sometimes i was assigned to make sure you were still alive. " she said.

"Maddie," i turned around to see the nurse from before. "You got her. Thankyou.

I shrunk back into Maddie. She held on tighter to me. The woman took a step toward me. i shrunk back further.

"I don't think its a good idea to come near her." Maddie said. "What did you do?"

She shrugged. "I saw she woke up and i started checking her vitals, she saw the year, told me it was wrong, then i told her that she had been in a coma. And she freaked out and ran."

I looked back at Maddie, she looked about the same age as me, or i was.

"Where are my parents."

"We contacted them they are on their way." the nurse said.

"What about Sam, my boyfriend, it isn't his fault. I let it go father than it should've, where is he." i don't know why, but i was asking Maddie these questions.

"He is here." the nurse said.

"Why would he think it is his fault?" Maddie asked.

"Because of my illness. I have had it since i was born. For whatever reason, when im...intimate in a relationship, i pass out, or worse, but if im around them at all, it takes a small toll on me, makes me dizzy or tired." i said.

She nodded. She was still holding on to me. Her embrace was warm. And it felt protective. No one, not even Sam has made me feel that way.
