I laid down in the grass. Maddie lifted my head up laying me on her lap. She set her arm around me resting on my stomach.
I took in deep breaths closing my eyes wanting to remember this.
Out of nowhere I felt a slight pinch on my arm. I opened my eyes to see Maddie holding a needle. She put it away in a tiny trash bags she carried around.
"Four hours remember." She said pushing my hair out of my face and behind my ear.
I closed my eyes again and listened to the rhythm of my irregular heart beat.
"We have to go back to class soon."
" I don't technically have to do anything. I am an adult and get to make my own choices."
She picked me up like a princess and carried me inside.
"Well you chose to finish an education. And I am not an adult and by law even to this day have no choice but to go to school."
She set me down and held my hand walking me to my next class.
"So much for having my own choices." I muttered under my breath.
"I heard that."
I smiled as we walked through the crowd.
One minute I was in the crowded hallway holding onto Maddie. And then she was gone.
I looked around but I couldn't find her. She disappeared.
The bell rang and I gave up. I grabbed my schedule and ran to my next class.
Maddie
One moment I was in the crowded hallway his long onto Moon, the next someone had a hold of my wrist and I was being dragged away from moon the opposite direction into the girls bathroom.
I heard the door slammed shut. Once I got a hold I my bearings to see who dragged me in here.
It was Sabrina. She had her hair up in a tight ponytail. Her face was caked with makeup as if she was almost trying to hide something.
"What do you want." I asked in a harsh tone.
"I see coma patient has started school again."
"She has a name Sabrina and she has."
She gently grabbed my hand. Her eyes went soft and she almost pouted.
"Maddie. I don't want her to ruin what we have. You barley even know her and she already has someone."
I yanked my hand away shoving it in my pocket.
"Like I said before me and you aren't and never will be a thing. We don't have anything. And that someone she HAD almost killed himself and she doesn't even wanna be with him anymore. Now stop with this crazy fantasy and leave me alone."
I turned away but right as i reached for the handle Sabrina started talking.
"I'll make your life hell. Make you regret you even started watching her."
"I don't care about myself. Do your worst." I looked back at her. "Because at the end of the day I still love moon more than I will ever, and I mean every, love you."
