Moon
I sat in class twirling my pencil around my finger while reading a book. The entire time Maddie was messing around and throwing little bits of lead at me every now and then. I smiled as she focused on the task at hand. I glanced over and stuck my tongue out at her. She giggled silently.
The bell rang dismissing class. I walked out with Maddie snaking her arm around my waist. There was a commotion in the hall surrounding one of the lockers. It just so happened to be around my locker. The principle emerged from the crowd coming right to me.
"Miss Moon will you please come with me."
I nodded. Maddie followed as I was led to the front office. I walked into the principle's office. Maddie stayed at the door as it was shut.
"I understand you are an adult, but this place does not condone the use of drugs."
"Excuse me?"
"There was an anonymous letter given to us informing us that you were holding drugs in your locker, we checked and found this."
She took out a small bag emptying it out, it was my meds.
"That is my medicine, the kind for my disease, without it I wouldn't be able to be here, Maddie and others can testify to it. I even have a note for it."
She leaned back in her chair.
"Well instead of investigating this I should investigate who is trying to go against you. You may take your items. " I nodded and put the vials back in the bag and left the office.
"What happened?" Maddie asked.
"Someone framed me for holding drugs in my locker." I held the bag up.
Her face went hard. "Who?"
I shrugged.
I could feel a presence watching me again. I turned around to see a blonde hair girl staring at me, her eyes bored into me. I turned around and grabbed Maddie's hand.
"What is it?" She asked.
I shook my head. She quickly turned her head around to see who I was looking at. Her face went cold. She turned back around and pulled me out of the hall into our next class.
"Who was that?" I asked as she sat down in her seat.
"Them."
She let go of my hand and balled both of her hands up. Her eyes were darting everywhere on her desk. She was muttering something so low I couldn't hear I kneeled down next to her putting my hand on hers. She looked at me, her eyes were cold. I rubbed my thumb across the back of her hand. She closed her eyes and took a deep breath, when she opened them they were soft. She laced her fingers into mine bringing my hand up to kiss the back of it.
"I am going to figure this out." I whispered.
