Moon's POV
"The bad part is i don't like needles." i said holding on tightly to Maddie's hand while we walked in the mall.
"Well things have changed a good while since you were asleep, tattoos don't require needles, all they require is a picture of what you want to be tattooed and a block that kinda looks like a phone...and old one."
I nodded as she gave me a squeeze. We walked into the parlor. I sat down at in the seat after handing the woman the money and held out my right arm. I decided to go with the moon, very ironic.
She put the ink in the block closing it up and placed it on my arm. After about a few seconds she took it off and revealed a full moon that was shinning down on the earth.
I lifted my arm up to get a better look at it.
"Beautiful, like you." Maddie said wrapping her arm tightly around my waist.
I rolled my eyes at her attempted to compliment me.
"Im hungry, buy me food woman." she said as we walked out of the store.
"Excuse me but i am the adult, literally." i said looking at her in the eye.
"And, i wear the pants in this relationship."
I rolled my eyes chuckling as we walked into the food court. I took a seat at one of the tables while she went to get our food.
"pepperoni." i said going into my bag to get the medicine.
Maddie's POV
I walked back to the table with the pizza and drinks in hand. I set it down on the table with the tray and sat across from Moon. She took a slice and shoved it into her mouth.
"Slow down there before you choke."
"Shut up, i haven't actually eaten for 50 yrs and what i have eaten was crappy overcooked hospital food. Leave me be."
I grabbed myself a slice and started eating.
"So who decided the name Moon?"
"My mother, i was born on a blue moon, so she decided to go with the name Moon. Said that the earth needs me."
She rolled her eyes and started on her second slice. I looked up to see Sabrina at one of the stores. I forgot she was going to be here.
"Hey i will be right back, i need to go to the restroom."
I got up and made sure she wasn't looking and ducked into the store.
I tapped Sabrina's shoulder. Her long blonde curl whipped around as she turned to see who i was. Her brown eyes glowed under the dark light of the store, and her tanned skin almost shone.
"Hey Mads."
I nodded.
"So what did you want to talk about." i said looking at the items on the shelf. It was a younger version of hot topic, and on the shelf was heavy metals boots.
"I don't want you to get with Moon."
I looked at her. she batted her eyes.
"Why?" i asked crossing my arms.
"Because i don't want her to ruin what we have." she said taking my hand. "And i want what we have to be something more."
I yanked my hand away. "No, what we have will not be ruined and will never be anything more than it is, and what it is, is friendship. You can't tell me who i can't be with."
"You're gonna kill her anyways so what does it matter." she said crossing her own arms. "The doctors said the dosage she took was temporary, so what if she forgets to take it and is having such a great time with you, you'll kill her, so what does it matter, and if you don't someone else will. And you barely even know her."
I shoved her away and walked out of the store back into the food court. I sat back down at the table continuing to eat.
"Well that was a long restroom break. What were you doing in there?" she asked with a sly look.
"You know what i was doing." i said with a wink.
We both started busting out laughing.
I started eating again with realization in mind.
I could be the death of her.
