Moon

I woke up on Saturday to the doorbell ringing continuously. I rolled my eyes that my parents didn't get it already and giggle that the person was so persistent.

I rolled out of bed and made my way downstairs and opened the door. It was Maddie, she put both hands behind her back and smiled.

"Maddie how are you?" my mother asked from behind me.

"Good," she said still smiling. "And I am kidnapping your daughter, so Moon if you please get dressed and come back downstairs so I can kidnap you."

I giggled and ran back upstairs and got myself ready.

Maddie was still where I left her. She smiled and as I leaned in to kiss her she lifted me up on her shoulder and walked me to her truck. She put me in and buckled my seat belt and started the car.

"Do you have your medicine?" she asked before pulling out.

"Yes." I said holding up a small bag filled with four vials.

"Good." she said.

"So where are you taking me?"

"It won't be any fun kidnapping you if I tell you my plan."

I giggled and she took my hand in hers.

About two hours of driving we reached the city where there was a parade of some sort.

"Where are we?" I asked getting out of the truck.

"Pride, " she said squeezing my hand. "One of the GAYEST conventions ever."

I laughed as she led me to the main area where tents were set up selling merchandise and where the stages for the drag queen shows were. The only problem wa sit was really crowded. The last time I was in a crowd at all I was hospitalized.

I guess Maddie saw the worry on my face so she pulled me over to another stage where music was playing. She wrapped her arms around my waist and pulled me close to her. She looked into my eyes and started swaying her hips. I giggled and started dancing along with her. She  pulled me in even closer and kissed me.

When the kiss ended she smiled and nuzzled her face into me. Without her eyes locked with mine I looked around. It was then that I realized how crowded it was, we were literally up against others.

I buried my face into Maddie's neck as my breath started increasing.

"Shhh its ok."

With me still in her arms she pulled me out of the crowd to an area that had few people. I felt like an idiot for overreacting, it had been two hours since I had my shot.

"I'm sorry." I mumbled.

"Don't be. If I had a disease that made me fear large crowds I would react the same way."

I looked up into her eyes. She held her hand against the side of my face and kissed me. When she pulled away she pulled me close to her.

"Can we buy some gay merchandise now" I asked giggling.
