Chapter 40

**Seth's POV **

It's been the best 3 weeks so far I've been spending all my time with Jayden and well I feel like we have been getting closer than we were before.

He's been spending a lot of time with me and Danny and well Danny has been teaching Jayden how to float.

I've tried telling Danny that Jayden was still a baby so it might be a little hard.

" Never underestimate me brah."

He smiled

I just shook my head and watched as he attempted to lay my son on his back in the pool.

Jayden looked confused not knowing what to do and I couldn't helps self I notice how white he is. it's funny because autumn is really tan and I have a little color but it's fading away I need to go to the beach I can't wait till I get my casts off. I remember autumn mentioning on never taking Jayden to the beach which explains why there's not a bit of color on him.

I couldn't help myself to think about mine and autumns hug I know I might be over reacting but I felt so tingly and I know she felt it. she hasn't texted me for a while maybe she finally relaxed and I didn't bother to text her.

It got really boring after a while in my wheel chair I have a doctors appt in a few days hopefully they can tell me how my arm and leg look.

My mom had brought pizza and I invited Jake along with Danny and my other friend Jace. I was a bit nervous because Jace wasn't at school when all this had happened and well he somewhat knew autumn I guess. that's all he told me but he never told me how.

They all came and I chose the movie chasing mavericks I remember watching it in marine bio and it was such a good movie I remember how I couldn't stop staring at autumn and how funny her face reactions were most of the time she was in awe.

They all came and my mom at the time was giving Jayden a bath. I wanted to give him one but since I had a cast on my arm I couldn't get it wet and by the looks of my mom or dad every time he gets a bath they come back dripping wet I guess Jayden like to play and kick in the water.

I greeted all the guys and placed the pizza with one hand on the table

" Dude when are you getting that off?"

Jake asked for the fifth time

" Not sure I'm seeing the doctor in a couple days."

I heard the door bell ring and I knew who it was Jace.

We all weren't sure how to explain all this we all were good friends and felt bad on not telling him and giving him details but he was in Hawaii visiting his dad.

As soon as Danny opened the door and Jace said hi to all of us I knew Jayden was almost done with his bath and I wasn't sure how Jace was going to take it.

Before getting autumn pregnant me and jace used to make fun and feel sorry for guys who got stuck with a kid. and we promised each other that we would never get in a situation like that.

Oops I guess it's a little to late for that.

As soon as they all sat down on my couch I heard my moms footsteps I looked at Danny and Jake nervously and just shrugged.

I soon saw Jayden all clean wearing his pjs that Danny got him they had surfboards on them and the shirt said aloha Danny's mom sent it from Maui when she was visiting family.

They fit him perfectly.

Jake and Danny said hi to Jayden and he was used to them and he waved but as soon as he say Jace he got shy.
