Shining the light,
Containing obvious answers,
Directly at you,
Yet the silhouette of you,
Remains dark and unclear,
Just like the destination,
You're aiming for.

The air filled with,
Tiny particles of anti depressants,
They lay,
At every corner,
In your dilapidated apartment.
Your view of this world,
Is so cynical,
There's no light,
Just cruel competition,
Win, win, win.
But you're not moving,
And the gun has been shot,
They already ran,
Why are you rooted?

You're protected by your shell,
Spitting venom at others,
But your shell shields you,
It blinds you from reality,
Numbs your sensitivity.
Vulnerable to nothing,
Pretty much a warrior,
Fighting a war with herself.

Smiles turn wherever you go,
How influential.
Everyone looks at you,
During practice sessions,
You're the bright shining star.
Sarcasm so powerful,
A verbal weapon,
That could shatter,
A person's ego,
It doesn't work on you.
The comments fly past you,
Have you dodged the bullet?
Or you're just invisible to us?

You squeeze in,
A terrifying bulldozer you are,
Charging into people's spaces.
You bring forth,
A tyranny rule.
You try to rise to the top,
But you don't,
Break youself down,
Dissect yourself,
Find your vulnerabilities,
You cover them,
Plaster them up.

Containers,
Storing all our hardearned skills,
Everyone's,
Jam-packed to the brim,
But yours is facade,
Tricking people to believe,
Your devious schemes,
The exterior painted,
Yet air fills the interior,
Stale, putrid.

You lift yourself up high,
But your arms are only so long,
Are only so strong.
Soon you'll grow tired,
Your downfall,
We're all in for a show,
When you accept help,
From yourself,
Deep within,
Slapping the sense into you.

Medicine is always bitter,
Never sugarcoat it,
Your teeth would only rot.
Cry as you consume,
The vile liquid.
Let the salt of your tears,
Season your failures.
The mocking laughter only sounds,
You planned this,
You wanted to torture yourself.
