I took baby steps at first,
Not daring to take a leap
Of pure faith.
Raw fear chained my down,
Slowed my speed to
A restrained saunter.
The lights were dizzying,
Somewhat encasing me
Telling me to move on.
Passing a certain threshold,
I believe salubrious,
The chains trust me.
It let go, and
I ran breathlessly
Freely.
