It has to be simple
So I do not
Colourise my work
And leave it a
Boring monotone

Do I like it?
Do the people like it?
The claps
And the classic
Blue ribbon
Says it all

All the years
The simple
Has earned me
Trophies and awards
Yet my palette
Is unused
In the store
