Never Expected

Chapter 12

I heard laughing. I opened my eyes and saw May laughing so hard at something. I looked up at her. I had no clue what she was laughing at. Then I looked over and Jack has his arm around my waist and his head close to my shoulder but not quite on my shoulder. I bolted up. May was laughing at that. I get that she thought we both liked each other but she didn't need to laugh. Then I saw she has her phone out. She did not. I grabbed her phone before she would fight me over it. I looked at the picture it was of me and Jack when we were both asleep. He was in that position he was in now. My position was I had my head on his chest and also had my hand around his waist.
"That better not get out. " I trusted her but I just wanted her to know that I would be really ticked if that got out.
"It won't,relax I took it for only us three. " I nodded my head. There was no point trying to get her to delete it.
"And more proof you like him and that he feels the same way."
"I don't like him!" I said yelling. What didn't she get. That we were just friends and that just happened to happen so she needs to let it go. Apparently I yelled to loud because Jack woke up.
"Lilly look at what you did! You woke him up." She said trying to sound mad at me but we ended up laughing.
" I'm sorry Jack I didn't mean to wake you."  I apologize
"It's fine you didn't wake me up." Oh my gosh his morning voice. He had that attractive raspy morning voice that you can't help but swoon over. I nodded lost at words because all of a sudden my throat went dry.  He looked up at me and smiled. May looked at him
"I want to show you two a beautiful picture." She got out her phone and showed us the picture she showed me earlier. Jack's face turned bright red. I felt so bad. I decided to stand up for him.
" May it's just a picture besides we look adorable. I said with the last part in a high pitched voice making Jack laugh. I asked him if he was hungry he said of course. I decided that dice he and the other Jack made me breakfast I should make them some. I asked Jack where the other Jack was. He said he had to leave early. I said okay and told him o was making breakfast for him and May. They tried to argued but I wouldn't hear it so I started it
    As we were siting around talking while I was cooking the breakfast I realized that May  was really starting to get along with the boys and it made me so happy. I looked at her and smiled and she smiled right back. I was done with making breakfast so I divided onto two plates. I handed May one. Then I handed Jack his plate. As I was handing it to him our hands touch and there was a shock that went through my body when our hands touched. I almost dropped the plate. He looked at me weirdly. But started eating his food.
Jack's Pov
Our hands touch and she pulled  away like she was scared of me or something. Was she scared of me? She couldn't be. I pushed those thoughts aside and continued what I was doing, which was absolutely nothing. I needed time to myself. I had no clue what was happening to me. I was worried about the guy that tried to kidnapped her again. But it wasn't the normal worrying it was something else. I felt like I needed to protect her more than ever. I needed a plan. I couldn't let her or anyone else she cared about to get hurt. I needed to find this guy and take care of him myself. I couldn't let Lilly know she wouldn't let me. So I ran upstairs and climbed out the window and started my search for this dangerous guy.
