Never Expected

Chapter 2

"I can't believe you killed them!!" I screamed in his face trying my best not to cry. "You aren't going to do the same to me."
"You sure about that?" He said looking at me with his evil eyes. He grabbed me and shoved me into a bag. I started screaming. He told me to be quiet but that just made me scream louder. Then I heard him grab something and suddenly my vision went black.
"Lilly!!!" I felt someone shaking me. I bolted up and looked up at Jack.
"Are you alright? You were screaming" he asked concern in his voice
"Yea I'm fine I just had that nightmare again."
"Is it the same scene that you keep having?" I nodded my head.
"Can you tell me actually what happened?"
He already knows but he likes me to talk about it because it's better to get it out or whatever.
"It was after he killed them and when he kidnapped me and that's how it ends in the nightmare but in real life it's not how it ends." There was a moment of silence before Jack spoke
" I guess your mind is wondering what would have happened if that's how it would have ended." Wow he was really smart. I nodded my head. That was very possible and would explain so much. So after a couple more minutes of talking about it we decided to get out of the car and go into the mall because we have been siting in the parking lot for quiet some time.
We walked into the mall and I asked him where he wanted to go he just shrugged his shoulders so I just started walking and he followed. We talked about some random stuff. I suddenly heard someone scream his name. It was his best friend Jack Gilinsky. He said hi to Jack and me. Jack G was also really nice and funny. I consider him a friend but I'm closer with Jack J. We decided to walk around the mall with him. He stared telling us about a party his friend was throwing and asked if we wanted to go. I automatically said no.
"Why Lily it will be fun?" He said practically whining.
"I don't like parties." I stated. Jack G looked at me like I had grown three heads.
"WHAT???!!!" He said screaming making people in front of us turn around.
" I just don't okay. " I said not wanting to explain why. Before he could ask another question Jack J stepped in
"Dude just let it go. " he gave him this look telling him to stop talking. I found that so sweet. Jack G just looked at me again weirdly but choose not to say anything.
A couple hours later it was getting really late so we decided to head back home. I got back into the car. Before Jack started the engine I decided to say something to him.
"Jack thank you."
"For what?"he said sounding totally confused
"Saving me back there from having to talk about why I don't like parties."
"Oh no problem." He said smiling. His smile was so attractive. Wait what. Why was I thinking that. I don't like him. It would just be weird to have a crush on him. Jack started the engine and we drove home.
