Never Expected

Chapter 10

Lilly's Pov
I texted my friend to ask if she would go dress shopping with me. As I waited for her to respond I reflected on everything that has happened this past week. This week has been crazy but what just happened with Jack has been the craziest even crazier then almost getting kidnapped again. I know that sounds weird but I have no clue what's happening. Maybe he just felt bad and decided to ask me. Did that bug me or no? Did he see me as more of a friend? Was I okay with that if he did? I pushed my thoughts aside. I checked my phone. She responded saying she would be here in 20 minutes. I said okay. I looked at myself in the mirror. I looked like a mess. I decided to clean up. Then head downstairs.
  As I walked downstairs I heard laughing and talking. I walked into the room and saw the Jacks talking to my friend. I guess it was more than twenty minutes. Before I could apologize she told me that she got here early. I said that was fine. I grabbed my purse with my wallet in it and headed out.
  We decided to go to the mall. She asked me who I was going with the dance. She was going with her boyfriend who was so nice and sweet. He's one of my friends. I told her Jack and she smirked.
"What?" I asked
"I knew it?" She said practically screaming
"Knew what?!" I was so confused.
"That Jack likes you."
"No he doesn't he's doing it as a friend because he felt bad for me."
"Sure." She said with so much sarcasm.
"Why don't you ask him?"  She asked. Was she crazy? That would be awkward. I explained that to her but she claimed I was scared because she was right. I laughed. I would not win this argument so I changed the topic and for the rest of the ride the subject didn't come back up.
  Once we arrived to the mall we went to my favorite store they had their own section of fancy dresses so we decided to start their. I had no clue what to look for. I wore dresses but only for special occasions and I didn't own very many. I wasn't a girly girl type person. Luckily my friend May who was with me was. So she was going to help me. She said that really any color would look pretty. I nodded my head. I didn't agree but started searching. I found a perfect dress it was so beautiful. I went to try it on(the picture above is the dress) and it fit perfectly. It was just the right length and not too much but not too little either. May said it looked beautiful. I was so happy but I had to look at the price for it to see if I could afford it. Luckily it was on sale so I could afford it. I was in love with this dress. I hoped Jack liked it. I shouldn't be worried though. I helped Lilly grind a dress. It took awhile but we found a really pretty dress. It was red and sparkly. Both of us were tired from shopping even though we didn't really do anything to make us tired but we were tired for some reason. So we grabbed some food and then went back to my house.
As walking up to the door I went to grab my keys. I searched my purse. I left the key inside. So I knocked on the door. May was laughing at me because I was so forgetful and stuff like this happens all the time. It took a couple minutes but Jack G answered the door. He smirked showing me the key. I punched him in the arm then walked in. He rubbed his arm like it hurt but I highly doubt it did.
"How was shopping?" he asked
"Exhausting!" May and I both said at the same time which made us laugh. Jack nodded. I walked upstairs to put my dress away. I walked into my room. And almost screamed. My clothes were all over the place. And everything had moved. I ran back downstairs.
"What did you two do?" I asked pointing at the Jacks. They looked at me so confused. I couldn't tell if they were joking so I continued.
"What you did upstairs?" They looked at me like I lost my mind then they went upstairs. I followed. I told them to go to my room. We entered my room and it was not like it was before. It was neat and everything had moved back. This was crazy. They looked at my for an explanation. I didn't want to talk about what I just witnessed so I said never mind. They shook it off and we walked back downstairs. What happened?
