Never Expected

Chapter 23

Lilly Pov
I looked at Jack and he had hurt written all over his face. I could tell he wanted to walk away but I think he was too shock to move. My friends decided to leave the room and let me handle this by myself bad idea.

Then he did the most shocking thing. Jack looked up at Jason and I saw the angry flash in his eyes and I should have calmed him down but I didn't. Without hesitation he punched Jason hard. Jason almost lost balanced but regained it and started to fight back.

I couldn't let this happened so I stood in between them and demanded them to stop. They eventually listened to me and they both looked at me.

"Jason what are you doing here?" I asked.

"I came back because I like you and you know that. " he replied back with a smirk on his face.

"Jason after everything you did I can't believe you would expect me to crawl back into your arms and act like nothing happened. " Honestly I try to be a nice person but sometimes my frustration gets the best of me.

I saw Jack smile a little and try not to laugh. Jason on the other hand did not look amused.

Then a look of determination he spoke " You will come around eventually. "

I rolled my eyes he had no idea how unlikely that was. Suddenly I got this feeling like I did when the whole bedroom situation happened. He wasn't going to stop until I liked him. That was sick and not going to work. I had to figure out a way to get him to stop.

I was about to confront him on what he did but remembered Jack was here. I wasn't comfortable telling Jack what had happened yet because he might think I'm begin crazy. Even if he believes me what just happened with the fight still makes me unsure how he will react.

Jason had to leave. He told us goodbye and neither one of us replied but shut the door instead. I turned around to Jack. I was still wondering what he was doing here. Not that I minded the company.

" Jack I'm sorry I shouldn't have let that happened but he forced me to."

"Lilly I understand that guy will do anything it's not your fault I guess I just walked in on the wrong time. " he laughed at his last statement

I could tell something was on his mind and it wasn't just what happened. Then the events of the phone call came back.

"Jack did you mean what you said on the phone is that why you are here?" He looked at me like he wasn't expecting el to bring it up.

"Lilly I like you a lot but I don't know why I said I love you it was way too soon I'm sorry. And no that's not why I'm here. "

" I like you a lot too. " we both smiled and I was glad the whole love thing was a misunderstanding because I don't know if I will ever be ready for that again.

"So why are you here?"

" Youe friends are concerned about you. And frankly I am too. " I looked at him. I couldn't tell him I just couldn't. I didn't want to seem weak. I could handle this on my own.

"Don't be I'm just stressed and miss my parents that's all." It was part of the truth. He nodded. I couldn't tell if he believed me or not. Remembering I had company I said goodbye to Jack and told him I would see him tomorrow for our date.

Once he left I went back to the girls and continued our girls night. I didn't explain what happened and I will eventually but they didn't look like they wanted to know.

"So let's talk about your date!" Vanessa said and Rose agreed. This was going to be a very long night.
