Never Expected

Chapter 16

Lilly's Pov
"He did what!!!" May said screaming. I just explained to her what happened with me and Jack.
"He kissed me." I repeated
"I heard you I'm just surprised but really happy for you."
"Surprised? You said that you always figured he liked me." I said confused.
"I did but I just never expected this." I honestly didn't either.
"So what's gonna happen now?" She asked looking at me. It's like she read my mind.
"I don't know." I said shrugging my shoulders. What was going to happen. I have never been in this situation and frankly I was kinda scared. I hope this didn't ruin our friendship. I told her that and she said she understand. As long as we stayed close I don't care if we dated or didn't. I liked him a lot and wanted to but if it meant losing our friendship then forget it.
Jack's Pov
I was siting down with Jack and we were talking about what to do with Lilly. He had better experience with this type of thing. 
"You should ask her out." He stated
"Dude I want to honestly, but what if she says no?."
"Why would she say no? She likes you."
"Maybe she's scared." I thought back to how much Jason hurt her and how long it took her to trust guys again. I didn't want to hurt her. I explained that to Gilinsky. He nodded looking like he understood.
"You don't know if you never try." He had a good point and I wanted to so badly. I decided I would. I told Jack to grab the keys and we were going to her house.
Lilly Pov
Me and May were still hanging out but talking about other stuff. All of a sudden my phone rang. I answered it without looking at who was calling. Stupid idea.
"Hello?"
"Hi Lilly" I knew that voice. It was my friend who ditched me.
"What's up." We haven't talked in a couple days then she just decides to call. I wondered what she wanted. 
"So I heard the rumor. Is it true?"
"What rumor?" I have no clue what's she talking about.
"You and Johnson kissed." I felt all the color drained from my face. 
"How did you know?"
"Someone told me." Even though I couldn't see her face I knew she had that evil smile. Then she hung up. How did she know? Did Johnson tell anyone. The doorbell rang and I went to open it. It was both Jacks. Honestly this was perfect timing. I to them to come in and sit down.
Jacks Pov
Wow. Lilly looks so beautiful. She hasn't even change since I have seen her last but after the kiss. I see her in a different light. I look at Gilinsky to leave. He got it and left. Leaving me and Lilly alone. Before I could speak she spoke.
"Who did you tell?"
"Tell what?"
"About us kissing." She didn't sound mad or anything. I don't know why she was asking. Maybe she felt concerned.
"Just Gilinsky"
"Oh" she said. What was she asking this for.  She said something that I don't think she meant for me to hear but she said then how does she know.
"How does who know?" She looked at me with a red face. I guess I wasn't suppose to hear that.
"Never mind." I nodded. She would tell me when she's ready. I'm not going to push her.  We started to talk about the kiss. We both agreed it was amazing.  We also felt the same way. I asked her to go on a date Saturday and she said yes without any hesitation. I was so happy and she looked so happy too. I didn't know what was going to happen but right now I don't care I just like where it is going right now.
