Never Expected

Chapter 13

Jack's Pov
  I walked on the sidewalk. I had no clue where I was going but I was determined to find him. So hopefully I would find him. I decided to walk back to where I found her a couple days ago. I don't know what I was thinking. Was this crazy? She had warned me how dangerous he was, but I was about to put my life on the line just so he would know he would have to stop messing with her. I walked around to the front the front door was locked of course. I didn't know what actually this place was but I had a feeling that he would be the only one I would have to deal with. I walked around to the back it was unlocked. I opened the doer as quietly as I could. I entered and it was pitched black. I started walking around for some clues. It was stupid but I needed to know what he wanted with her. I heard footsteps and I subbed behind something. I heard someone talking. I was guessing it was him. It sounded like he was on the phone because he was the only one I could hear.
"I was so close to her but that stupid guy had to get there just in time." I heard him say. He was talking about me. Hopefully he would say why he wanted her.
"Don't worry boss I will find a way to get what I want from her. Guess I'm going to have to do it the hard way. I tried the hard way and it didn't work. " Boss? He was working for someone. I wondered if Lilly knew about this. And what did he considered the hard way. Since he thought that was the easy way I don't think I want to find out what the hard way is.
  I needed to get out of here. He sounded like he was getting really mad at the person on the phone. He was cussing and yelling at that person. It didn't help at all he was talking about other stuff that didn't have to do with her. How was I going to get out of here. All of a sudden I heard him say.
"I got to go. I have to deal with something right now." He ended the call. He started to walking around fir a couple minutes then said something
"I know your in here. Show yourself. " how did he know I was here. I was completely silent. I didn't know whether to show myself or not. I decided to make a run for it. More like I tried to. As I was running I felt something hit me and I fell to the ground and I was in so much pain but I blacked out before I could scream in pain.
Lilly's Pov
Where was Jack? I thought he left but his car was still here. I searched the whole house. He was nowhere to be seen. I tried calling him but it went straight to voice mail. What was going on. All of a sudden my phone rang. I picked it up hoping it was Jack but it wasn't.
"Hello?"
"Hi is this Lilly?
"Yes?" Who was this and why were they calling me.
"Someone you know is here?"
"Where?" I didn't know where here was
"The hospital. "
"What??!! What happened??!! Are they okay??!!" I had so many question but before I could continued my questions. The nurse said
"He just passed away. We tried everything but we couldn't save him." Oh no I bet it was Jack. Before the tears started coming I told her I would be right there. The tears started as soon as I got on the car and didn't stop the entire ride.
