Never Expected

Chapter 21

Lilly Pov
I stared at my friends so speechless. It was so quiet no one was saying a word and just looking at one another.
  
How did I feel about him? Did he mean it? Did I feel that way? So many questions were running in my head. My phone went off and I didn't need to look at it to know it is Jack. I let the call go and talked to my friends as if nothing had happened.
 
It was getting late and. I grabbed some snacks for us three because we still decided to watch a movie even though we were all really tired.

As I was getting snacks I knew Vanessa  and Rose were having a secret conversation because I could hear the whispered but not much.

I wonder what they were talking about. I decided to not ask I don't know what it wasn't about and didn't hear much. Plus if it was something they wanted to tell me they would and I don't need to push them.

As I got back they stopped talking. I choose to ignore it. I hope it wasn't about me or anything like that.

As the movie played. I felt my eyes trying to close so I told Vanessa and Rose that I was going to go get my clothes to change in for the night.

I walked up the steps and entered my room. The weird thing is that I thought I had turned off my bedroom light but I'm so tired that I don't really care. Plus I probably just forgot and it's nothing to freak out over.

My clothes were in my drawer as I was opening them I heard a weird sound. The sound was coming from the closet. I tried to convince myself I was just begin paranoid but I had a feeling that I couldn't ignore this.

  I walked over to my closet trying to be extremely quiet. I slowly opened the closet door. I almost screamed but a hand went over my mouth and I wad begin held by string arms.
 
I tried to get out of this persons grip and see who it is. Then the person talked.

"You better watch your back! Cause you have no clue what I'm capable of!" He said screaming. His voice sent shivers down my spine. The scariest thing is that I knew that voice.

All of a sudden he let go of me causing me to fall on the floor and he jumped out of the window. My bedroom was on the second floor but I heard him land with a thud. Rise walked into the room and said

"Hey everything okay I heard a loud noise and why are you on the floor?"

"Yes everything is fine. I fell which is why I'm on the floor.  I lied. I felt bad for lying but I can't tell her the truth well at least not now.

She nodded looking like she believed me. She walked over to the window.

"No!" I screamed. She gave me a weird look. If he had not landed well I couldn't explain to her what really happened.

But as we looked out the window he wasn't there. I breathed a sigh of relief. She gave me another weird look. I grabbed my clothes and walked downstairs with Rose.

When we got downstairs Vanessa paused the vice and Rose whispered something in Vanessa's ear and I pretended I didn't notice. Then Rose excused herself and said she needed to make a phone call. I looked at Vanessa and she just shrugged.

Jack Pov
I heard my phone ring I was hoping it was Lilly she hasn't answered any of my calls. But as I looked at caller I.D it wasn't her number. I was going to not answer it but a gut feeling told me to answer it.

"Hello?"

"Hi is this Jack Johnson?"

"Yes and who is this?"

"This is Rose, Lilly's friend I wanted to talk to you about her something's wrong." Oh no I said in my head. I needed to know.
