Never Expected

Chapter 18

I woke up smiling. I replayed my memories from last night. I couldn't wait for tonight. I got in the shower thinking of all we could do. Also I thought about how I had a date with Jack tomorrow I couldn't wait I was so excited. However I was very nervous. I haven't dated anyone since Jason and we all know how that ended. I knew Jack was nothing like that and would ever hurt me. I guess I was just nervous because I like him a lot. I got out of the shower with all the thoughts swimming in my head. I wore a cute sweater and jeans and put some light makeup on. I looked outside it looked warm and bright outside so I decided to just walk around for some of the day since the girls weren't coming until later.
  It was very beautiful outside. I felt happy and this weather was reflecting my mood. I loved where I was right now and I can only imagine it getting better. But as I was walking one thought cake back in my mind. How did my friend know about me and Jack kissing. I kept trying to push that to the back of my mind but it kept coming back up. I decided to call her. After many tries she finally picked up.
"Hello?"
"Hi this is Lilly."
"Yea I know I recognize your voice. What's up?" I hated how she sounded so sweet but she knew what she did
"Who told you the false rumor of me and Jack." I lied and said the rumor was true because I didn't want her to know.
"Um his name stated with a j but I can't remember what his name actually is. Sorry." And with that she hung up. At least the call wasn't a total waste of time. I got a lead that his name starts with a j. The only people that came to mind were the jacks but they obviously didn't tell her. Then it hit me. I thought of Jason. But how? I was probably wrong. I needed to make sure this was right before jumping to any conclusion of to why he knew. I walked over to the park and sat down because this was going to take a while. Instead of calling her I decided to text her because it was probably quicker.
As I sat around and waited for a response a shadow blocked the sunlight that used to be hitting me. I looked up it was Jack G.
"Hey!" Jack was also awesome just like the other Jack.
"Hi! What are you doing here at the park?" He questioned
"Just hanging out. How about you?"
"It looked nice outside so I decided to go for a walk." I nodded I totally understood. I looked at the clock it's been over half an hour since I have texted her. It was bugging me I needed to know this.
"Hey so Jack really likes you." He said smiling
"Aw I really like him too." I said smiling as I felt my cheeks turn red.
"You guys are so cute I finally get my wish of you two dating." He said laughing. I laughed with him. He was so sweet.
"So what are you wearing for your date." He said smirking. I realized that I had dresses but not one for this occasion.
" I don't know yet. I will find something." Without saying anything he grabbed my hand. I asked him where we were going but he didn't respond he just told held on to my hand and dragged me somewhere. He stopped. I looked up. We were at a clothing store. Oh no.
"I'm going to help you find an outfit." He said smiling
"You don't have to."
"I want to."
"Fine but I get finally decision and don't think about showing me any bad clothing."
"Fine." He said whining.
"Thanks." I said smiling back at him. This was going to be a very interesting shopping experience.
