Never Expected

Chapter 17

Lilly's Pov
How did she know bout us kissing if neither me nor Jack had told her. I wasn't going to let this ruin my day. This day has been amazing so I can't let one stupid little thing ruin it. Jack left a couple minutes ago and I was already missing him. I wish he knew that but I couldn't find the words to say to him. I'm glad we both agreed on how we felt towards each other. I also couldn't wait for the date he asked me on. I hope I have something to wear. It was going to be in two days and I wanted to make sure I don't need to do any shopping. I looked at my phone. Wow one and a half weeks till the dance. I couldn't believe it I was so excited. I continued walking upstairs.
As I got to my room. I saw some dresses I would be fine to wear on the date. I'm glad I had many choices to choose between. I walked back downstairs and it felt weird. I don't know why. I felt like someone was watching me but when I looked around nothing was there. I needed to calm down so I decided to go on a run. I grabbed my phone,earbuds, and my car keys and drove to the park.
I arrived. I was ready to run. Running helps me a lot with nerves and stress. So I turned on some fast past music and started running. All the thoughts just went away and my mind was cleared.
I finally stopped running. I had ran two miles and only meant to run one. I decided to walk around a little bit to cool down. As I was walking I saw some girls I knew. We are still friends we just haven't had time to stay in contact with each other. They both made eye contact with me and ran up and hugged me. It felt so nice to finally see them again. And as if they were reading my mind.
"It's great to see you." Rose said.
"Don't you agree Vanessa.?"
"I agree!" She said smiling very bright.
"Lets chat while walking." Vanessa suggested. Me and Rose nodded in agreement.
We talked about so much. I had lost Vanessa and Rose's numbers and they have lost mine so we exchanged. We decided it would be fun to have a girls night and do what we normally do. We all have missed each other so much so I thought it was a brilliant idea.
" I can't believe summer is almost over." Rose said randomly. I completely forgot that I would have to go back to school. The incident have happened at the very end of school year and transferred into the summer I never thought of having to go back to school.
"But we are all going to the same school so I can't wait to be back on track." Vanessa states . I nodded.
"Well I should get going it's about to get dark. Do you guys still want to have a girl night tomorrow?"
"Yes!!" They both screamed. We exchange addresses and decided to hang out at six 0'clock tomorrow night Since I had nothing tomorrow it worked out perfectly. We said our goodbyes. I couldn't wait until tomorrow. This have been the best day ever.
