Never Expected

Chapter 19

We walked into the store and we were immediately greeted by the staff. I looked around this looked really expensive. I wondered why Jack took me here. I doubt I will be able to afford anything. I randomly picked a cute dress just to look at the price. Wow I was right.
"Jack" I tugged on his sleeve. He gave me a questioning look.
"I can't afford this. Can we go somewhere else?" He just smiled and shook his head. I didn't like that look. I wondered what he was thinking. We walked around a little bit and there stuff was really cute and there were so many choices. I have no clue how I will choose. Jack went off to look at some because he thought I needed help which wasn't true.
"Lilly!" I turned around. Right in front of me was Jack holding the most beautiful dress I have ever seen(it's the picture). It was red but had black lace at the top that would show a little skin. It also has a black belt in the center going all the way around. I was speechless. I grabbed the dress and went to go try it on.
  I walked out of the dressing room to show Jack. He looked at me and his eyes widen.
"Wow Jacks going to die over that dress. " he said smirking. I felt my face go red.
"Hey Lilly when's the dance again?" He said changing the subject.
"This weekend. "
"You excited?"
"Yea" He smiled and grabbed the dress. I didn't know what he was doing. Before I could say anything he went to checkout. I couldn't believe this. He was sweet and I need to pay him back. He paid for the dress and we walked out of the store. I punched him in the arm. I said that's for getting the dress and not letting me pay. He just smiled. I thanked him and then I walked back home. When I got home I looked at the clock. It was only 2 o'clock. I decided to do stuff around the house and just chill until the girls showed up.
   The doorbell rang and I jumped to go get it. I loved how they were never late. They were always either early or right on time. I opened the door and before I could do anything I was pulled into a group hug. We all pulled back laughing. I was so happy to see them. I lead them over to the couch.
"So you two hungry?"
"Of course!" They said in unison. I knew a food place that we always ate when we hung out. I grabbed the phone and dialed the number to the place. They looked at me trying to figure out where I was ordering from. I started saying the order and they got it almost immediately after I said the first food item. After finishing the order they said around 20 minutes till they would be here. I said thanks and hung up the phone. We sat around and talked until we left to get the food.
  About 15 minutes later we decided to go get the food. I was really excited. All of us haven't eaten since the last time we hung out which was awhile. I turned on the radio and an amazing  song came on and we all just started  screaming and singing. Then the topic changed to bands and music artist and we liked most of the same artist and bands. I loved talking with music with people it made me feel happy. We arrived and I got out and went to get the food. Once I got back I hopped in the car turned up the music really loud and drove us home. I could tell this would be a night I will never forget.
