I can still remember when I fell in love with Zarkon, I was twenty years old at the time.

And I was happy.

I remember being so flustered around him, sometimes I even wanted so badly to tell him but knew that he wouldn't love someone like me.

I was Altean and he was Galran.

We were so. . .different.

That thought was always on my mind, until,

"Iris. . .would you like to be my date to the ball tonight?"

He was blushing so much and I told him I would, I went in my finest gown and that's when I told him how I felt.

It turned out he felt the same way.

He told me when I put on my coat outside since it was a cold night, it was romantic since the moon shone in the water.

We were so happy together. . .atleast I thought we were. When I went to visit him one day, I saw him with another Altean woman. I thought they were just talking, until she kissed him and he didn't pull away.
