Of course he wouldn't listen to me, he killed me, he forced our children to become weapons of mass destruction, and now he calls my daughter a pawn?! I was beyond anger now and when my eyes went yellow, it reminded me of my son.

Lotor.

Him and Jinx were inseparable as babies, but when they got older, Lotor had some sort of hatred for her. He hated that she was the center of attention, he hated everything about her and yet, that didn't change the fact that she was destined for greatness.

"Worthless piece of-! Agh!"

"What did you say, brother? Go on, I don't think I heard you!"

They always fought eachother, though most of the time it was competitive and no matter how hard Lotor trained, Jinx was stronger in mind and body.

Jinx is unconscious and once she awakens I shall be there by her side.

"Susong," I murmered and my body once again floated into golden petals, soon forming into my body again in the Altean Castle.

"Um, am I the only one who just saw that?"

My eyes opened and I saw the new Paladins of Voltron, with Allura and Coran!

"Iris! You're alive!" Allura cried out happily before hugging me and I hugged her back.

"The gods have given me a second chance, and hello Coran," I smiled kindly at him and I could've swore I saw his cheeks turning pink.

"It's good to see you again Iris."

"Wait, Iris? As in Jinxs' mother?" Pidge asked and I nodded.

"It's nice to finally meet the saviors of the Universe, allow me to introduce myself. I am Iris Jade, mother to Jinx. Now, where is my daughters lover?" I asked kindly and I heard a cough to my left.

I looked at him and I almost immediately approved of him. A strong build, handsome features, but the Galran arm, that was the one thing I was curious about.

"Your arm, let me see it young man," He nodded and made his way towards me, showing it to me and my eyes scanned over it.

"Galran tech?" I asked, making direct eye contact with him.

"I was kidnapped by the Galra when I came to space. They made me fight gladiators and called me Champion, they took my arm away from me. But, Jinx was with me the whole time. She comforted me, cared for me, loved me. . .she did everything that was against her orders just to be with me," He smiled at the memories.

Interesting.

"Tell me Takashi, would you die for my daughter? Would you risk everything to protect her from danger?" I asked.

"Miss. Jade, what I'm about to tell you is the truth. I'd die for Jinx, I'd risk everything if it meant that we could have a future together, even have a family together, which I hope to make a possibility one day," He smiled reassuringly and he told the truth, no lies in his voice, no false hope.

"I heard you proposed to Jinx, but she rejected you," I said and he looked down, saddened by this.

"Whoa, you did what?!"
"Oh how wonderful!"
"But, why'd she say no?"

"I know the reason why, it's because she's dying," His head jerked up and I saw fear and worry in his eyes.

"What? How is that possible?" He asked as everyone else came closer.

"She is a hybrid of Galran and Altean. The power that resides within her is more then Seilah. She is something beyond our comprehension and if she can't unleash her powers to her full potential then she will die."

"How do you know this Miss. Jade?" Hunk asked.

"I sensed it, me and Jinx have a strong bond with eachother. We can sense eachother, ah, you're finally up, what took you so long?" I asked as I saw my orchid stumble into the room.

"M-mom? How?" She stuttered, making her way towards me.

"It doesn't matter, what matters is that-" She hugged me and I hugged her back, running my fingers through her purple locks with a smile.

"I sensed that something was going to happen but, I didn't know that it was you," She smiled.

"But I did see Zarkon, your father. He thought I was an illusion, but I proved him wrong. Now that he knows I'm alive he will try and kill me again, but I won't let that happen. I'm now apart of this fight against Zarkon," I stated proudly.

"Wasn't Zarkon your husband?" Keith asked.

"He was, but his heart is covered in greed and darkness. There is no saving him now. . ."

If only there was a way. . .
