"Kai Matt Shirogane! Get your butt in here now!"

My voice rang through the entire castle-my castle-and my son scurried into the main room, but swords clashed and I saw the person he was battling with.

"SHIRO!"

"Sorry mom! Dad wanted to spar!" Kai immediately pointed the blame at his father and Shiro took off his helmet.

"What's wrong, Jinx?" He asked, seeing my angered expression.

"Look what I found in his room," Tossing the book into my husbands' hands, his eyes widened and looked at our son in disbelief.

"Kai, we've told you the dangers of magicks. Why-?"

"It was the only way I could get you to pay attention to me!" He suddenly yelled out, his different colored eyes staring at me.

"What do you mean?" I questioned, walking towards him.

"Anna is the center of attention around here! She's part human, Altean, and Galran! We may be twins, but she's so much stronger, smarter, she's perfect! If she makes a mistake, it's fine, but me?! It's like the fucking world ended!" He yelled out, his purple hair messy from sparring and his outburst.

Annalisa and Kai are twins. After the war, we revealed Kai and Anna into the world, with the Galra finally at peace with the Galaxy after I killed my brother and father.

Kai was born with one purple eye and one grey eye, his hair purple like mine, but he keeps it shoulder length. Annalisa has her fathers' black hair, but my eyes. She keeps her hair just as long as mine.

Over the years, Anna excelled in fighting, combat training, but Kai was hardly ever into that stuff. He's more into technical things, and fighting is fun, but he's taken an interest in magic, something I'm afraid of greatly due to Haggar turning out the way she did.

*slap*

"Kai Matt Shirogane, you do not raise your voice to me, nor your father, especially with cuss words. . .and it is my fault that I haven't been giving you and your sister the same amount of attention. Are you truly interested in magicks?"

"More then anything else I've come upon."

"Then I will teach you, but you have to promise to use it for good," Kai nodded vigoursly.

"I will!"

"Head to Aunt Pidges' lab, I'll meet you there," Kai took off running and Shiro wrapped his arms around my waist, his chest against my back.

"He'll be fine. We raised them right," Shiro whispered reassuringly to me, but then I heard footsteps rushing towards us from the back.

Shiro spun around, his blade in hand, and sparks flew when his blade collided with another.

"Almost got me there, Anna."

"I sure did, dad!" Anna giggled, blowing a piece of black hair from her eyes.

"Where's Kai? Damian is looking for him," She asked us and we exchanged a look.

"Your mother is going to train him in magicks. I know we've always warned you about it, but Kai isn't like you. He's not interested in swords and combat training like you are, so encourage him to do it, okay?"

"Are you kidding? I'll always support my big bro! Be right back, I'll tell Damian he's busy," Skipping off, Shiro groaned in pain.

"She got me good. God, my back."

"You're so old."

"The white hair is from the tuft!"

"Mhm, sure~."
