Eye of the Storm part 2

Mīna

I swum happily in the pool, smiling and loving the feeling of cool water on my tail and skin.

"WAAH!"

I heard a door open, then saw Keith and Lance fall through the pool and land on the ground below.

"What the-?! Mīna?! How did you stay up there?!" Lance asked, clearly frustrated.

"It's fairly easy, would you like me to help you up?" I asked, and they both nodded eagerly.

I had my tail disappear, replaced with human legs and grew to a normal human females' size. Only I forgot that my tail was the only thing keeping me in the pool and fell straight out.

"I got'cha-! Oomph!"

"That's. .  embarrassing," I heard Keith mutter and rubbed my forehead in pain.

I soon realized that I landed on Lance, he didn't catch me, he broke my fall.

"I'm so sorry Lance! Naneun neoege haeleul kkichilyeoneun uidoneun anieossda!" I explained, but they only looked at me strangely and I realized that my English language was gone.

For Mer-folk, in order for us to learn other languages, we must kiss the person who speaks it and the language will be transfered into us as well.

I gestured for Lance or Keith to come closer to me, Keith did since Lance was still dazed from breaking my fall.

I grabbed Keith by his shoulders and smashed my lips onto his. He tensed up by my actions and froze, not moving and I pulled away after ten clicks.

"Thank you so much, Keith!" I hugged him, his face was beat red.

"WHAT WAS THAT FOR?!"

Lance screeched, looking furious.

"Oh, well in order for Mer-folk to learn other languages, we must make lip contact with the person who knows the language and it is transfered into our brains, but it only lasts for a limited amount of time." I explained and Lance smirked.

"So when will this happen again?" He asked.

"Possibly after a human month, but it depends on the Mer-folk," I informed.

"Well then, maybe next time-ow!" Keith wacked him on his head.

"Don't take advantage of her, idiot. She has feelings like any other person."

Gray

"Having a hard time learning the Altean language?" I asked Pidge, since she looked absolutely terrified.

"Yup," She sighed and I sat down beside her, she looked at me.

"You know, there's an easier way to learn," I told her and she turned her body towards me in interest.

"Really? No violence? No one dies?" She asked, surprised.

"No violence, just close your eyes," She squinted at me.

"What are you trying to pull with me?" She asked, suspicious.

"Nothing Pidge, I promise. Just close your eyes, please?" I asked and she did so.

Okay Gray, just do it.

The poison you put on your lips will kill her.

As I started to lean in, I stopped myself when I saw how innocent she looked, she doesn't know that I could kill her so easily.

Don't hold back!

Just do it!

But I knew I wasn't that kind of person, mom wouldn't want me to do this.

"Gray? You okay?" She re-opened her eyes and saw that my entire body was shaking.

"Gray?! What's wrong?!" She asked, moving towards me, but pushed her away.

Why am I holding back?! What's wrong with me?!

"Gray! You have to tell me what's wrong-! Oh my god," She gasped out, staring at my face and I saw what was happening when I looked at her glasses.

A part of my face was turning a dark navy blue, all the way down to my hip and stopping there. It was only the half of my face and a jagged, messed up dark line through the chest.

"Pidge. . .run," I hyperventilated, feeling Jae use her stone of Raggora to control me.

"No! I'm not going anywhere-!"

"I said to run! Go, now! I don't want to hurt you!" My voice changed and my eye glowed pink.

My hand grabbed her collar and threw her at the wall, knocking her out, her head making a dent in it.

An evil smirk played it's way onto my lips as I walked over to her, an ice spear in my hand and I brought it up.

"Goodbye, Paladin-"

"I don't think so, Grayson Huntsman, son of Haggar."
