I grew tense, my breath had hitched in my throat, my eyes were widened and I blinked a few times.

"Wh-what? U-um, I'm sorry Shiro but maybe marriage means a different thing on your planet? Because I know that here it means to join together for the rest of our remaining lives," I nervously chuckled and rubbed the back of my neck.

"On Earth, it means to not only join together forever, but to vow to always protect eachother and love one another," He was smiling like a complete dork.

"Oh, so it-. . .basically means the same thing," Realization hit me and my heart started beating faster and faster.

"You want to make me your wife?" I asked, a smile curling onto my lips.

"More then anything."

"Then. . .can't we wait?"

The question surprised him because he walked up to me when I had looked down. Grabbing my chin gently, he made me look into those eyes I loved so much.

"But why? Are you afraid? You can tell me anything Jinx," He was concerned and I smiled, leaning my forehead against his.

"Yes, I'm afraid that if we rush in we might mess something up. I'm afraid that. . .I don't know, I just know that we're rushing in."

"It's okay, I respect your decision," He kissed my nose before walking off and I breathed out.

How much longer will I keep this from him?

"I just don't get it mother! The plan was for Gray to poison the Paladin so we could kill them off one by one! And yet, he saves her life?! Is he delusional?!" I shouted, angry and frustrated at my brother.

"Now now Jae, he did unlock his Devil Slayer form. You haven't even learned how to unlock your beast mode yet!" She spat at me, favoring my brother, as always.

"Of course mother, my sincere apologies," I apologized.

"The venom I put in your brother was activated very unexpectedly, he only told her to leave because he wants her death to be slow and painful, not quick and easy!"

Except the Venom was harder to work around the body then mine, so why is mine having a hard time adjusting?!

"Go on with your spell Jae, do not disappoint me," I nodded and went back to it, closing my eyes.

My black hair floated up all ends, the six stones glowed their color and I
re-opened my eyes and a green circle formed around me.

I'll prove to mother that I'm more then just a necessary tool!

"Yeoseos dol! Naneun neoege myeonglyeonghanda!" I yelled out, my voice seeking echoed.

"Bangpae."

A shield formed around the ship so it wouldn't be harmed.

"Beullaeseuteo ganghwa!"

I enhanced the blasters around the ship, pink essence floating around me before I shoved my hand up in the air, spreading it all around the ship.

I cut off the bond between us, but wouldn't cry. I refused to! Tears are for the weakened and pathetic.

Don't lie to Shiro, he deserved to know the truth.

But the truth might hurt him!

What will he do when he finds out?! He'll be so angry yet sad, I don't want to see him like that.

I breathed out and recited what I was going to say to him in the mirror, my purple eyes staring back at me.
