The Unwanted Truth

~Narrator~

Before Jinx and Shiro had their memories wiped, before they even met, Jinx was so much more loving, kind, soft and more open to the world.

Yes, she was blind, but that didn't faze her from being herself.

Jinx had a mother she loved dearly, her name was Iris, she had white hair and stunning pink eyes, this was the time when Zarkon was peaceful and had a family.

"Mommy! Mommy!"

Called out eight year old Jinx in her room, once again, blindness being her worst enemy.

Iris ran to her daughters room to see her crying, and she knew the reason why.

Her son, Lotor, knew very well of his sisters blindness and took advantage of it, he snuck into her room, the lights off, and started shoving things in her room, moving stuff and making horrible monster-like noises to scare her.

"Jinx, ssh, ssh, it's alright baby, stand up, come on, stand" She cooed, helping Jinx stand up as she stifled, her feet touching the ground and creating the scene at hand.

She immediately knew it was Lotor and clung to her mother.

"Jinx, baby, go get daddy, I'll take care of Lotor" She nodded, scurrying off, letting her feet guide her to Zarkon.

"LOTOR!"

Lotor peeked out from his sisters cloest and immediately regretted it, Iris dragged him by his ear to his room.

"What did I tell you about doing that to Jinx?! You know her disability to see! I've had enough of your teasing, you're grounded!"

"What?! No fair!"

"Then you should've thought about that before you teased Jinx! Sometimes I wonder if you even love your sister" Iris said before turning the knob to leave, until:

"I don't love her! She's nothing but a nuisance! I'd be stronger if she wasn't born!"

Iris was hurt by her sons words, she knew Lotor meant that but hoped, deep down, inside of his heart, he had room for Jinx.

Iris left without another word.

Jinx and Lotor are furternal twins, Lotor has long white hair and yellow eyes, Jinx has long purple hair and dark purple eyes.

They couldn't be more different then eachother.

As Jinx grew older and older, she became more beautiful and even Alteans grew jealous of her beauty.

Lotor, was handsome, he was infatuated with Princess Allura, obsessed, but she did not love him back for she knew how horribly he would treat Jinx, her best friend.
