*Ruth's POV*

I began to wake up when I felt a gentle touch on my head. I slowly opened my eyes to see Shawn gazing down at me.

"Hey there sleepy head." Shawn said.

"Hey pretty boy." I said, with my groggy voice.

"I think your Mom is cooking dinner. You wanna go check it out?"

"Sure." I said.

We both got up and stretched our stiff muscles. I was pulling my bunched up leggings back down to my ankles, when I saw Shawn looking at me funny.

"What?" I questioned.

"You might want to brush your hair Ruth." He chuckled.

"Oh no." I said, looking in the mirror to see my matted hair on top of my head.

"Haha, here you go." Shawn said, handing me my hair brush.

"You must think I'm really pretty now." I said, getting out the tangles.

"Oh hush, you could be wearing a paper bag and you'd still look beautiful."

I felt my cheeks turning red again.

"You're so cute when you blush." Said a giggling Shawn.

"Thank you." I giggled back. "Now lets go see if there's food!"

We walked to the kitchen to find my Mom cooking veggies in a pot, and some chicken with some kind of sauce in a pan.

"Hey you two!" My Mom said. "You guys look sleepy!"

"We just took a nap." I said, hoping my Mom wouldn't be mad that Shawn slept in my bed.

"Haha, well I can tell! Dinner will be ready in about twenty minutes. I'll call you guys when it's ready." She said.

I exhaled with relief.

"Okay, we'll find somethin' to do to pass the time." Shawn said.

"Expelliarmus! Stupefy!" I heard from downstairs.

"Is that Harry Potter playing down there?" Shawn asked.

"Haha, yes, I think it is! Wanna go watch it?"

"Hell yeah! Is that even a question?!" He replied excitedly.

"Alright, lets go!" I said, leading him downstairs.
I grabbed the remote, and we sat on the big chair meant for two, and cuddled up next to each other.

"Oh this is the fifth one, I love this one!" I exclaimed.

"Wow, I knew you liked Harry Potter, but you sound like you're a pretty big fan." Shawn said, surprised.

"Haha, yeah, I watched the movies so much growing up. I never really read the books until I was about a junior in High school, but I only got to the hundredth page of the fourth book." I explained.

"What?! No one is a true Harry Potter fan if they haven't read all the books!" Shawn exclaimed.

"So I've been told." I laughed.

"Haha, I'm just givin' you a hard time. I think you can still be a fan if you know the movies really well."

"I agree, people always give me crap about that. Have you read all the books?"

"Yeah, it's been a long time though, so I can't really remember the details." Shawn explained.

"That's okay, I remember when I read the Hunger Games back in high school, I can barely remember half the things printed in those things." I giggled. Shawn giggled back, before turning our focus back to the movie.
