Chapter 5: Falling

Seth's Pov

"I-" I stopped and looked up at Kenzie. 

She looked at me with confusion.

"I will see you at school." I finished.

I guess she rubbed it off and nodded. She leaned over and kissed my cheek. "Okay."

With that she left and went inside.

I feel like such an idiot. That's so not what I wanted to say.

Since I met Kenzie, I've left, I don't know, a different connection. She's cool and sweet like candy. I think I'm starting to like her. I mean look at her, she's tall with curves. She has this silk, long brown hair that hits the mid of her back. Her blue eyes dance inside you like music. She has the perfect smile. And her personality is just flawless. I mean don't get me wrong, we all have flaws, but hers' just make her a better person?

She's just perfect.

Once I came back to my senses I started the car and left. I arrived home in about ten minutes. I parked my car in the drive way and made my way inside. My parents weren't home so I just went straight upstairs to my room deciding to end my day. All I did was think of her that night.

I think it's her.

I think I'm falling for the new girl.

Kenzie's Pov

I woke up once again to a normal regular day. All I could do was think about last night. It was 6:47 in the morning. I have like ten minutes to get ready. I got up and walked over to my closet. I grabbed a black T-Shirt and some skinny jeans with a pair of my black Vans. I changed quickly , starting my daily routine. I brushed my hair since it was already straightened, then I quickly did my make-up making, choosing a more natural look for the day; running over to the bathroom, I brushed my teeth and quickly rinsed off. I grabbed my SnapBack and walked down stairs. When I went into the kitchen my brother was already sitting at the island. He must've woke up before me.

"Morning," I said while grabbing an apple. 

I turned around and looked at him because he didn't respond. He had his headphones in, blasting music so loud I could hear it from where I stood. I brushed it off not caring. Instead of taking the bus I decided to drive to school. Once I got there I parked my car.

I walked into school a couple minutes early so I went over to my locker. I grabbed what I needed and set my stuff down. After that today went by as a blur. I wasn't really focused today for some reason. I was still tired, besides I couldn't get my mind off of last night. I had a lot of fun but I guess that was just me? All the girls talked to me today, and so did the guys, but I hadn't heard a thing from Seth. All I knew was that Seth had something he had to take care of.

Shaking my head, I yanked myself back to reality. The bell rang and I didn't even realize it until the next class started filing in. I grabbed my things and left. I guess I just didn't care. I got to my car only to see all the boys hovering around it.

"Hey guys." I said.

"Yo, Wassup." I got back from most of them.

I laughed. "Just thoughts, that's all."

I opened my door and threw my bag in.

"This your car?" asked Kyle.

"Yep. I just got it back." I replied.

The guys all laughed. "You just got it back?" asked Derek and Cody.

"Hey, I'm not always a good girl." I smiled as they all laughed.
