Riley Confession

The next day Riley and Maya went to the students common room to work in their assignment with their partners. They arrived in the common room and saw Chai seating in a table and Carrie seating in the couches across the room.

"I'll meet you at your parents house for dinner once I'm done researching with Carrie. I love you, Riley with all my heart." Maya said with a smile. "I love you too, Maya with my hart." Riley replied and Maya chuckled at Riley response.

Maya then got on her tippy toe and kissed Riley. Riley could feel Maya's lips, her tongue, her chest pressing against Riley's, their noses bumping into each, her hand in Maya's tangled hair, her other hand interlocked with Maya's, their fingers entwined. They let go and smiled at each other and headed toward their partners.

Riley and Chai picked Martin Luther king Jr. as their presentation and as they we're researching Chai noticed that Riley will frequently look over at Maya and Cassie and notice them laughing and both of them smiling at each other especially Cassie and how Riley was giving her the evil eye.

Chai knew this was the right time to talk to Riley and calm her down from doing something idiotic.

"Hey, Riley. You know you have nothing to worry about, right?" Chai asked Riley. "I don't know what your talking about, Chai." Riley replied pretending that she know what Chai was talking about.

"Riley, you shooting Cassie the evil eye which you only do when...." Chai said. "Fine I'm worried about Maya I mean what if she starts developing feelings for Carrie? What if Maya leaves me?" Riley said panicking thinking of what could happen.

Chai couldn't help but laugh at Riley. "Really Riley, trust me Maya, will never in her entire life do that to you she loves you and only you." Chai said trying to comfort Riley. "Chai, you know that in high school when Maya came out girls instantly started flirting with Maya..." Riley was cut off by Chai.

"True, but Maya never flirted back because she didn't really notice it and also because Maya is a faithful person who cared about our relationship." Chai said as she thought back to her relationship with Maya. "More importantly about you and who loves you and would never in her entire life hurt you or your marriage!" Chai said with a smile.

"You wanna something Chai, that I never told anyone before." Riley said with a slight smile.

"What is it?" Chai asked curiously. "When Maya revealed that the two of you were dating I was sad but I was also jealous of you." Riley confessed which resulted in Chai chuckling.

"What's so funny?" Riley asked a bit offended that Chai was laughing at her confession. "Riley, I was jealous of you when it came to your relationship with Maya." Chai replied which shocked Riley.

"Why were you jealous, Chai?" Riley asked curious. "You known Maya your entire life the two of you have this deep connection that I never seen before and even though I was Maya girlfriend I know that Maya and I will never have that connection even if we lasted and I know without a doubt that Maya will always pick you over me and she did." Chai explained to Riley and the two of them were instantly reminded of the triangle.

"Why were you jealous of me?" Chai asked curiously because she finds it hard to believe that Riley was jealous.

"You were Maya first everything! Her first kiss, the person she actually had true feelings about, her first relationship, her first girlfriend, her first date! You are basically the reason that she revealed her sexuality because she cared deeply about your relationship." Riley replied with a slight smile that Chai returned.

They both turned and saw Maya who was working on her project with a determined look.

"I realized I was in love with Maya when she visited me after game night and apologized for not coming out and after we talked she had to go home and as I watched her go home that's when I realized I was in love with her." Chai explained with a sad voice that Riley noticed.

"Chai..." Riley was cut off by Chai. "Riley you don't have to be sad I'm okay, I promise. Look Maya will always be my first love and she'll always hold a special place in my heart and but I'm moving on and Josh is helping me and I'm slowly falling for him." Chai said with a smile.

"Sometimes I think that if Farkle didn't shout out my feelings in New Year's Eve I would have still hid my feelings about Maya and you and Maya could still be dating." Riley admits sadly.

"I may have been Maya first everything but your are Maya best friend, first love, wife, the mother of her son and many more! Trust me, Riley, you have nothing to worry about." Chai replied with encouraging smile that made Riley feel better.
I'm thinking about not continuing this book for I'm getting hate about my book and saying that it's terrible and maybe it's true.
