Maya was awake as she watched Riley sleep Maya gently rubbed Riley belly she was now 5 months pregnant almost halfway through her pregnancy. Riley woke up and saw Maya smiling at her Riley smiled back and the two kissed.

"Why are you looking at me like that?" Riley asked and maya knew what Riley was doing, "I will always look at you like this." Maya replied playing along.

"Well, stop." Asked Riley. "Why?" Maya answered. "Because you're giving me the heebie-jeebies." Riley said, "Cool." Maya replied as the two laughed for this is exactly what happened in their first date.

"You still remember our first date?" Maya asked as she stroked Riley hair, "Of course I do you I'll never forget it especially the kiss-cam." Riley said smiling Maya laughed as she remembered the kiss cam.

Maya propped herself up on her elbows and fixed the pillows on the bed to stand. Maya then sat up and leaned her back into the pillows. Riley followed Maya gesture by leaning her head onto her upper chest. The two sat in the dark completely silent. Riley listening to Maya heart beat and how fast it beat when Maya is with Riley.

Maya laid her left hand across Riley's stomach. She circled the bump with her hand,

"Hi baby, I just want you to know that your a miracle baby for your mom and I and we can't wait to hold you. We love you." Maya whispered and suddenly Maya felt a little hiccup under his hand.

Riley took in a deep gasp and gripped Maya's forearm.

"Did the baby just...?" Maya asked completely surprised.

Riley nodded her head trying to regain control of her shallow breathes.

"Mhmm.. The baby just kicked!" Riley whispered back, "The baby has never done that before?" Maya said.

"Nope, this was the first time! Riley replied excitedly. This was a sign of a healthy life growing inside her. Riley grabbed Maya hand and placed it on her stomach again, in the same position as the previous time.

"Peaches,say something to the baby again." Riley encouraged, "Okay, Ummm.. Hi honey, Mommy's here" Maya said with a gentle voice.

Riley felt another semi-sharp jab in her front abdomen. The pain wasn't as bad as the first time. Riley knew that everything involved with having a baby took some time getting used to. Maya was over the moon, grinning from ear to ear. She reached in for another kiss from Riley when she heard some little feet patter across the hard wood floor and jump into the middle of the bed.

"Hi, Scottie!" Riley exclaimed, "Careful of mommy Scottie. We need to be careful of her from now on okay? Because what does she have in her tummy?" Maya asked.

"Baby brother!" Scott replied happily,
"That's right Scottie, but we don't know yet if it's a boy or girl but pretty soon you're going to be a big brother. Do you want to feel the baby Scott?" Riley questioned excitedly.

Scott nodded and Riley reached down and took Scott's hand, placing it on her stomach Scott smiled as he felt the baby move the three smiled at each other for they couldn't wait till the baby is born.
