Charlie parked his car inside his secret hideout he was glad that Maya is alive but worried that she could die and it's all his fault that she's in critical condition as he was lost in his thoughts he didn't notice the person behind him until he was turned around and came face to face with the monster he created.

Lucas fist punched him in the face resulting in Charlie to stumble until he catches his balance.

"YOU TRAITOR! HOW COULD YOU BETRAY US AFTER ALL WE DONE AFTER ALL I DID FOR YOU! HOW COULD YOU DECIDE TO HELP HUNTER!" Lucas shouted angrily and punched Charlie once more he repeatedly kept punching, kicking, and throwing him around, Charlie didn't bother to defend him against Lucas.

Charlie was laying in the ground in pain as he bloody broken nose, bruises, and perhaps a broken rib. Lucas looked at Charlie and looked satisfied at the damage he's done. Lucas pulls out his gun and points it at Charlie face.

"Before I kill you for siding with that piece of trailer trash! Why did you do it? After all this time wanting to kill and ruin Hunter life why did you back off when we finally had her! We were finally going to kill her!" Lucas shouted as he kicked Charlie once more angry that he finally had the chance to end Hunter life but Charlie decided to have a change of heart.

"Your just like your uncle who decided to change sides and what did you do with him... you killed him! And that's what I'm gonna do to you! Now answer me why did you that to us!?" Lucas commanded.

"It's because of what Maya said, I done terrible, horrible things since high school till now and I don't wanna be a heartless monster who enjoys killing a person who's babies were just born or soon to be parent! I don't wanna leave this earth as someone who enjoyed causing pain to others taking their loved ones away! If I'm gonna die then I at least remember that I saved Maya by siding with her! I don't care if Maya or her friends and family don't forgive me because I don't deserve forgiveness, but I finally did something good and I don't regret it." Charlie answered with a smile.

"If I had the chance to go back in time I'll change all the horrible mistakes I made in my life." Charlie continued.

"Nice speech, Gardner, but the only thing I heard is that Hunter is alive so thank you for the information." Lucas replied but before he could shoot Charlie.

"FREZZE DROP YOUR WEAPON!" The voice said Lucas turned and saw their were five police officers behind him.

"You stalled me!" Lucas said angry as he stared at a smiling Charlie who looked satisfied.

"I knew that you'll be here waiting for me so I called the police and told them everything and they'll try to come quick so I had to stall you until they came." Charlie explained and Lucas quickly shot Charlie in the heart and the police shot Lucas in the leg and arm causing him to fall.

The policeman kicked the gun away from Lucas if he tries to reach for it while the three other cops checked the place for any evidence the last one bend down and checked Charlie pulse and felt nothing.

Charlie wakes up and takes in his surroundings and sees he's in John Abigail Adam High School as he walks around he's tapped on the shoulder Charlie turns around is greeted by the sight of.

"Uncle Charles!" Charlie shouted happily as he hugged Charles who returned the hug the two stayed in a embrace both smiling.
"I'm sorry that I killed you, uncle I was so filled with revenge that I lost sight of who I truly am and I hope you..." Charlie was cut off by a hug.

"It's okay, Charlie, I forgive you." Charles replied with smile that Charlie gladly returned.

"C'mon I want you to meet someone." Charles said the two walked out of the building and Charlie was surprised to see who was outside.

"Maya?" Charlie asked surprised to see her and then reality hit that Maya didn't make it.

"Gardner!" Maya replied smiling Maya walked up Charlie the two stared at each other as they remembered all that the two went through until now.

Charlie slowly stuck his hand out curious if Maya would shake his hand after all he's done Maya stared at his hand and the next thing that happened surprised Charlie.

Maya pulled Charlie to a hug and Charlie slowly accepted the hug the two pulled apart.

"Thank you, Charlie, for saving me before the warehouse blew up and taking me to the hospital." Maya said, "Your welcome but it's all my fault that your dead for working with Rebel and not taking you to the hospital faster." Charlie replied sadly.

"It's okay as much as it pains me to say this but I wouldn't have made it after the damage I taken during the fight but thank you, Charlie." Maya said the two shook hands.

"I forgive you." Maya said with a smile and in that moment Charlie felt a great weight lifted off his shoulders.
