Riley was now six months pregnant and today Maya and Riley will be finding out the gender of the baby.
Maya and Riley at the hospital and checked Riley in they sit down in the waiting room and till Riley's name is called. The two talked on what they think the gender is and the name of their baby.
"Riley Matthews-Hart Hunter we are ready for you." The nurse said as Riley and Maya both stood up Maya held Riley's hand and stared at her with a smile.
"Ready, Riles?" Maya asked smiling, "Yup" Riley replied as the two followed the nurse the room
"The doctor will be right with you" the nurse said kindly. "Thank you." Riley said. They sat down and then 5 minuets later the doctor came into the room.
"Good Afternoon Riley and Maya." The doctor said as she closed the door. She pulled out her clipboard and Riley's medical file.
"Ok well were just going to take a look at your baby, you just need to lay down & pull up your shirt." The doctor said. Riley did as told. She rubbed some gel on Riley stomach spread it around her stomach.
Maya held Riley's hand and they looked at the monitor for they couldn't wait to find out the gender of their unborn child. "Everything seems to be going ok" the doctor said. "Now you said before that you didn't want to know the gender because you wanted it to be a surprise did the two of you changer your mind or do you still want it to be a surprise?" The doctor asked.
"We want to know!" Both Maya and Riley replied excitedly the doctor nodded and started moving the gel around Maya noticed the doctor confused expression.
"Is everything okay with the baby, doctor?" Maya asked worried. "Everything fine but I overlooked something in your last ultrasound. It appears that Riley is carrying twins." The doctor explained shocking Maya and Riley.
"Congratulations! Maya, Riley, you are having a... boy, girl!" The doctor announced.
Riley looked up and saw happy tears running down Maya's face Maya wiped her tears away and smiled
"We're having twins, Honey!" Maya said excitedly Riley laughed happily
"Thank you, Riley! For everything, for being my best friend, wife, soulmate, my everything, I don't know what I'll do without you." Maya said as the two kissed and looked at the monitor that showed their unborn twins.
I couldn't decide between a girl and boy so I decided on twins
