It's been two days since the hearing where Maya was proven innocent and Charles being caught for being homophobic.

Farkle was with Chai and Zay in the student commons going over their math homework together. But Farkle couldn't stop thinking what Charles said to him.

"You know the old saying of keep your friends close but keep your enemies closer. Well you enemy may be closer than you think, Farkle." Charles whispered.

"FARKLE!" Chai yelled instantly snapping Farkle out of his thoughts and noticed Chai and Zay concerned looks.

"Are you okay, Farkle? You been acting weird ever since the hearing?" Chai asked. "Yeah, is everything okay, Farkle?" Zay asked as both Chai and Zay were worried.

Before Farkle could respond he saw Charles ordering coffee and thought back to what Charles said. Chai saw that Farkle was paying attention to someone and followed his gaze which was on Charles.

"I need to talk to Charles, I'll be right back." Farkle said as he got up and headed towards Charles direction as Chai and Zay watched with worry of what Farkle is planning to do.

"Professor Charles, can I talk to you in private." Farkle asked as Charles turned and faced Farkle.

"Mr. Minkus, what can I do for you?" Charles asked cautiously as he noticed how serious Farkle looked right now.

"What did you mean when you said "You know the old saying of keep your friends close but keep your enemies closer. Well you enemy may be closer than you think, Farkle." Farkle asked quoting what Charles said.

Charles picked his coffee and sat at a table with Farkle following behind and seating from across Charles.

"Ever since the hearing I thought back to what you said to me. Especially with you and Ms. Hunter finding out about KJ and that Hunter felt sorry for me." Charles said and Farkle listened.

"Now that you and Hunter found out about KJ then you know of my background and why I'm homophobic." Charles asked and Farkle nodded.

"Like I said it may be hard to believe but Maya feels truly sorry for you and understands why you hate her because she reminds you of him. Professor Charles, it's true that Maya and KJ were in an exact situation but Maya handled it differently then he did." Farkle explained.

"I talked Hunter and Riley earlier today and it wasn't pretty." Charles said ignoring Farkle last response. "Why did you want to talk to Maya and Riley?" Farkle asked curious.

"You and Ms. Hunter already know my past and I thought that Riley deserves to know." Charles explained.

"Mr. Minkus I know that Hunter and KJ are two complete people but they we're in the same situation that I projected my hatred towards KJ to Maya even though the outcome was different... but you don't want to talk about that? You want to talk about your friend?" Charles asked but knew from looking at Farkle he is right.

"Farkle your a genius I'm certain that you what I was trying to tell you." Charles answered as he sip his coffee.

"No, no... no! I known Lucas since seventh grade and he isn't that kind of person who will betray us! Besides theirs no evidence!" Farkle responded quickly defending Lucas.

"Fine, Mr. Minkus. Don't trust me but remember... everyone has a dark side that they try to hide but in the end it comes out." Charles replies and stands up.

"Farewell, Farkle, for this is will be my last time seeing you." Charles said as he said walking out.

"Wait what do you mean last time?" Farkle asked. "I decided to quit and.... get help and try to become a better person. That's why I decided to visit Maya and Riley not to just tell Riley my past but that I'm sorry and I'm going to change my ways and perhaps in the future we cross paths and I'm better person by then." Charles explains and Farkle softly smile.
