Dear Dallas,

Hey bro, sorry it’s been awhile. The last month has been really hectic, and I’m sorry. Senior year is coming closer, and I’m getting scared. I don’t know how I’ve made it this long without you. Please come home.

I promise though, I won’t let you down. I feel like since I’m the one who’s still here, I need to make the best of it. We were a packaged deal. But, since I’m the one living, I promise I will make the most of my life. I can’t promise you that I won’t get sad, but I promise that I’ll do exactly what you’d want me to do.

Okay, well I just got out of school. Rachel is taking me down to her family beach house. I’m already packed up. Junior year was such a drag, nothing happened. I feel like even though I may be surrounded by loads of people, I’m still alone. But, I’m trying my hardest. I promise.

Anyways, Rachel should be here in a half an hour. I guess I’m looking forward to it. Let’s just hope I find a cute boy, right? Ha, I’m just kidding. I will try to find someone that you would approve of. But that should be hard considering you were always overprotective of me. You said you did it out of love, but to be honest I think you did it because you could be a real jack ass. But I love you anyways.

I’m gonna eat, and make sure everything’s locked up. I’ll write when I get there, okay?

(Continued)

Hey, I’m back. Okay, I just got down to Rachel’s family’s beach house. It’s nice. Her family isn’t here though, I thought I was spending the week with her family, but I guess not. Anyways, we haven’t moved in case you were wondering. We’re still only 15 minutes from Huntington Beach. That’s why it didn’t take us too long to get here, haha. Okay Rachel wants me. I’ll write later. We’re probably going swimming, love ya!

(Continued)

Okay, so apparently she brought me down and there’s going to be no parents all week? I’m not sure if I should be happy or angry. I don’t mom or dad would mind, but I’m not sure because they’ll think that I lied to them. Anyways, there’s a party tonight apparently. Like a beach bonfire or something? Rae (Rachel) invited the “clique”. But her neighbors and some other people are going there. I just hope there’s no drama, that’d be lovely. I got to go eat, then help set up for the bonfire! Help!

The best sister ever,

Jasey

Dear Dallas,

Sorry that I haven’t written just like one entry. Like it’s all choppy, but I’m sorry. But it turned out to be more like a party then a bonfire. Well, I’ve only been to a couple bonfires but this definitely wasn’t what I was expecting. There was alcohol. But, be proud of me, I didn’t drink any. I knew you’d be mad at me.

Rae left me when the party (bonfire) started. Not shocked though, she’s been doing that to me a lot lately. It took me at least 15 minutes till I finally found someone in my group. Thank god for Drew. If he weren’t there, I’d probably had walked back to her house. Even though it was dark out. But, it would’ve been like a nice walk, yeah? Well, Drew wasn’t with everyone else. So we just walked along the shore line. Like kinda like in the water, but not. Do you know what I mean? Anyways, it was a nice walk. Not like anything or romantic or anything of that sort. We kind of just talked about life. He brought you up, remember Drew? He was your best friend. Yeah, he misses you dearly. Well when I was walking with Dallas, some kid ran into us. He didn’t even say sorry. Drew seemed to have known him or something because he didn’t seem mad at him because he did that. I think his name was Caleb? Or something? Hold on, someone just got here. Rae’s still sleeping so I’ve got to get the door.

(Continued)

Okay sorry, it was Phoebe. And then we went out to lunch, but I’m home now. Writing to you. Apparently the boys name that ran into Drew name’s Calum, not Caleb. From what Phoebe said, I’m gonna do my best to not talk to him because apparently he doesn’t have a good reputation. He lives here, in Huntington Beach. That’s why I had never heard of him. It makes sense.

We’re all going out to dinner tonight, the whole gang. Plus a couple people from the bonfire last night (including Calum). Tonight should be interesting. I’ll tell you about it when I get home, or tomorrow.

Love ya lots,

Jasey xo
