Toxic Kitten POV:

I study the ring as a twisted around my finger. The silver band wrapped perfectly around my ring finger, and had a diamond not too big, nor too small.

"Can I be the maid of honor?"

I look up and see Ghoul smirking down at me.

I roll my eyes at him,"you are willing to wear a dress?"

"Hell yeah. Screw gender roles. " he laughed he sat next to me, putting his hands behind his head.

I laugh at him and see Kobra Kid strife over, "you're too ugly to be the maid of honor. " he says with a straight face.

Ghoul put a hand to his chest and acted offended.

Kobra blew a strand of blonde hair out of his face," I'm glad he finally got the guts to propose. I mean, he isn't shy enough to show you his body, but he was to ask you to be his wife. " he chuckles at the last part as I blush.

"That, I have to agree with. In happy for you guys though. " Jet Star said as he came around the couch and patted my shoulder.

"Thanks guys. " I say in a quiet voice.

Poison finally came into the room.

The other killjoys all headed to bed a while back, but the rest of us felt the need to stay up.

Just the five of us.
I look at Poison's left hand, and see a gold band on his finger.

We both look at each other, and he gives me a smile, then he blushes.

I look away, as if being caught looking at a school boy crush.

"We are going to win the war. We didn't win the Analogs.... but we will with this one. " Jet says with a big smile on his face.

That's what I love about Jet. He is always a helping hand and so positive.

I grin at him," We will. We have Missile Kid now. She's our weapon. " I say.

"It doesn't feel right. To use her.... I know we were told to not grow on her, but...." Kobra Kid sighs and looks at his folded hands.

I make eye contact with Ghoul, and his golden orbs stare into mine. As if saying "don't worry. It will be okay. "

His eyes were one of the first things I saw when I woke up in BLi.

It's sad I can't look into his eyes without that having that thought anymore. And not believing the secret message they tell me.

"I know it isn't fair.... and it is all confusing... I don't know how the power is within her.... I have no clue what's going on honestly. " I say.

"Me neither. We knew she had some kind of power.... but we didn't know it had to do with a bomb... maybe it is a misunderstanding?" Poison asked as he looked around.

I run a hand through my hair, "yeah... I don't know. How about we don't talk about this. There is really nothing we can do about it..." I trail off.

"She's right. How about we talk about the future that doesn't exist?" Jet suggested.

I look at Poison and he looked confused.

"What do you mean?" Kobra asked.

"Like... how are things gonna change when we win. Are we still gonna live out here? We take over the government?"

I scan the guy's faces, and they all looked dumbfounded.

"I mean... I don't know jet. Let's just focus on things going on right now. " Ghoul says.
