Toxic Kitten's POV:

He was real.

He is real.

I couldn't believe my eyes. The five of us stood there with our jaws dropped.

All of the myths I heard as a kid, I didn't actually think he would be alive and moving.

I noticed Val kneel down to him, so the rest of us followed.

Missile Kid lead Destroya to us, and the killjoys all made a path for him and he strolled towards us, footsteps shaking the desert and making the dust rise up.

All that was heard was garcacious footsteps of the wondrous giant standing before me.

No one said a word. The air was filled with joy, disbelief, and shock.

I'll be honest, I wasn't sure about us winning the fight. I had my doubts. But with this war machine? We will most definitely demolish BLi.

Destroya was now in front of us.

The giant stood just a couple of feet in front of us. Missile was resting on his shoulder, her cheeks were smeared with dirt, and she had dark circles under her eyes. She held onto a loose wire to keep her grip.

She looked exhausted and dirty, but her eyes shone with joy.

"We are ready to go him. " she said, her voice sounding strong and confident.

Poison slowly stands up and inches closer to Destroya.

He walked towards the giant with his hand held out, reaching for the god of the killjoys.

Destroya bows his head as Poison touches his head.

"Thank you, my lord. Thank you for returning. " he said, each word coming out shakily.

The gargantuan machinery said nothing. Maybe he couldn't?

He just nodded his head, accepting the compliment.

"Middle Kid. How did you find him?" Ghoul looked up at her, his face expressionless.

"I just knew. " she yawned, then leaned on Destroya.

I saw movement on the ground below only to see Dr. D wheeling himself outside where the other killjoys were.

He sheilded his eyes with his hand as he looked up, with the hugest grin I had ever seen on his face.

He let out a howl, pumping his fist up in the air.

Then I did the same thing

Then the boys.

Then the whole army was howling hoots and hollers, jumping around while pumping their fist in the air.

Everyone was prepared and everyone had hope. Real hope.

That is something we hadn't had in a while.

Yes, we had always ran in hope, and Missile Kid symbolized that very word.

But I feel it was false hope.

We were all tired of fighting the good fight, and I'm damn sure it has crossed everyone's mind at least once about wanting to give up and maybe even ghost ourselves as an option.

I know I have.

But I looked around me all the time. I realized what I had, and what this cause was for.

I didn't give up for the ones that cared. I didn't give up because I knew people depended on me and o was doing the right thing.

I didn't give up because I knew there was a chance this would all end and it would get better.
