Amusement park
It was loud. Children crying, parents screeching, metal wheels on a metal track going faster than light itself. it was loud. The screams of people flying off of rides, the screams of those on a ferris wheel that continuously rotated in out of a fire. It was loud. Terrified screams of toddlers being stomped to death as they are trampled by those trying to escape death moments before. It was loud. My mind was loud.
It's quiet, the roller coasters have stopped. It's motionless. It's quiet. The screams have stopped, the bodies have stopped flying, the fire was put out. It's quiet. The once bloody toddler bodies float throughout the park. It's quiet. The roaring waters have calmed settling on every inch of ground that was once visible. It's quiet. My mind is quiet.
