(A/N:Okay so I found out today, on the 15th of February is the day where Ace officially dies..in the manga I think. So here's a angsty oneshot, and since I am evil, Itami will be dead also.)

Third pov

Blake was confused as to why Creed & Alice weren't acting like their usual selves. This morning, Creed skipped breakfast, and Alice had eaten so much more food than she usually consumed, that Ruby had to stop her. Blake tried to talk to Creed, but he just seemed...distant. As if he was in another world or something.

"Blake.." Tiberius called out, gesturing for her to come over to him. Blake sauntered over to her little brother, "What's up?" she asked. "I think that it's best if you leave those two alone." Ty said. Blake stood there, stunned, "How did you-" "Do you not know what today is?" Tiberius asked. Blake shook her head, "Why...is there something going on today?" she asked quietly. Tiberius leaned in to her ear, and whispered: "Today, was the day where their parents died."

It all dawned onto her. Today was February 15th, the day where Portgas D Ace & Lucifer D Roza Itami had sacrificed their lives to save both Creed & Alice when they got captured by the Marines. When she found out about what had happened, she did her best to comfort the siblings. They were both crying so much, and they wouldn't even look at each other, because their appearances always somehow reminded them of their parents. Their Mother was the one who got killed first, she was killed when she used her body as a shield to protect Creed & Alice from rapid gun fire. Then, their Father had distracted the Marines so that they could get away, and Creed was screaming when he saw his Father fly into the ocean.

Blake bit her lip, "What's going to happen now?" she asked. "We're sailing towards where their graves are. So...I think that maybe we should stand by with them, and just...be there as a shoulder to cry on for them." Tiberius said softly. Blake nods, "I'll do my best."

Meanwhile, Creed stared at his ceiling. His cheeks were covered in tear stains from crying earlier. He hated this day. To him it was a reminder that said that he isn't strong enough for this pirating world. It was also a reminder that said that his parents weren't ever coming back, ever. He hated that thought. For years he's spent his childhood with his parents, and Alice. He loved them so much. They gave him love, support, confidence & happiness. But now that they're gone...

'I didn't even get to say goodbye...'

A knock on his door made him jump. He sniffed, and hid underneath his blankets, "Go away." he trembled. The door opened anyway, and the blankets were ripped off him. Standing above him, was Alice. Her fingers were trembling, and her teeth were grit. "Move over." she said roughly. Creed moved over, and Alice laid down next to him, and hugged him, "Stop hiding from me. We're supposed to be there for each other!" she cried. Creed felt more tears spring to life in his eyes as he hugged Alice tight, "It hurts, Alice.." he whimpered. Alice sniffed, and inhaled Creed's scent of summer's night air. She hugged Creed, and cried into his arms, "I want Dada & Mama.." she bawled. Creed pet her head, "Yeah...me too.."

*flashback*

"Mama look what I've good!" 8 year old Creed yelled as he showed her the fish he caught with Ace. Itami turned and smiled at her son, her emerald eyes bright & full of life. "Wow! Thats a pretty fish! I'm so glad!" Creed pouted, "Boy fishes can't be pretty! They're tough, like me!" he insisted. Itami chuckled, "Yes, they sure are tough aren't they? They're tough like your Father."

6 year old Alice ran up to Ace, who was washing away some fish guts. Ace smiled upon seeing her cute daughter, "Dada...I-I have something for you!" Alice stuttered. Ace sat Alice on his knee, "Aww really? Come on lemme see." Alice made him close his eyes, and put a flower crown on Ace's head. When Ace opened his eyes, he laughed, and kissed Alice's cheek, "I love it! It certainly suits me!" Alice hugged her Father, "I was worried that you wouldn't like it..." She murmured. "I absolutely love it! I'll never let this go!"
