Third pov

"Mum, Dad...can we talk?" Ruby asked. Sanji & Victoria looked at each other, before they both looked at their daughter. They both offered kind smiles, "Of course, Ruby." Victoria said. "Come sit down, my Ruby. You can tell us anything." Sanji smiled. The nerves that were earlier setting in Ruby's mind slowly cleared as she shockingly sat in between her parents. "Is anything the matter, Ruby?" Victoria asked. "There has been something thats been...bothering me lately." Ruby starts. "Is someone making fun of you?" Sanji growls. "No! No one is!" Ruby quickly assured. "Good...because I would find anyone who hurts you." Sanji declares.

Ruby sighed, and stared at the ground, "I have been thinking about this a lot, lately. And with thorough thought, I've finally come to my decision." Ruby starts. "A decision?" Victoria asks. Ruby nods, "Its something really important to me, and to my future." Suddenly, Ruby could feel herself cry. Sanji immediately made her face him, "You can tell us, Ruby." he wiped away his daughters tears, "Whatever it is, no matter what, we're gonna help you, and we're gonna support you, okay?" Ruby cried even harder when Sanji said that.

"I'm sorry..." Ruby whimpered, "But...Mum, Dad..I don't like boys! So many of them are just dicks! A-And....I really really really like Pearl! She makes me happy!" Ruby cried even harder when she saw how shocked Sanji appeared to be. "Its just...I'm sorry. I can't bring myself to be attracted to guys. Its hard..I've tried really hard, but they just always mess stuff up, and-and-and.." Ruby finally let out a breath, "I really love you guys. I love both of you. I may act like I'm a punk-ass brat half the time, but it doesn't change the fact that you're my parents, and that I love you guys so much. Not telling you both as soon as I made this decision hurt me. Please don't blame yourselves at all, because you guys have done nothing wrong...its just, this is who I am now, and I really do hope that you both still accept & love me."

Ruby was silenced when both of her parents immediately hugged her from both sides. Ruby would hear her Mother cry. "Oh Ruby.." Victoria cried, "We love you so much." "We're the ones who should be sorry." Sanji murmurs, "We're sorry for making you think that we'd be upset over this. We aren't upset that you like girls better than boys." Sanji kissed her forehead, "I'm so happy that you told us. I'm also very proud of you. So proud. We..no matter what, we're gonna support you, you hear? If someone is being shits to you just because you like Pearl, then I'm gonna kick their ass." Ruby sniffed, before she started to cry again, hugging her parents along the way. Victoria was crying happily, while Sanji gently rocked his two loves. "I love you both so much!" Ruby cried. "We're gonna help you out in every way possible." Victoria murmurs to her, "We're gonna help you gain Pearl's attention."

*timeskip*

Pearl sat on the couch, boredly flicking through tv. Marco was in the kitchen, cooking dinner since Kira was working a very late shift tonight. "So, any luck with wooing Ruby yet, yoi?" Marco asked. Pearl smiled, "She's coming out to her parents tonight, yoi." Pearl called. "Oh well good for her, yoi. So long as she's happy, yoi. How do you feel about it, yoi?" Marco asked. Pearl got up, and leaned against the kitchen bench, "Well, I'm gonna do everything I can to make her comfortable, yoi. I'm not gonna immediately make a move...I'm gonna give her some time, yoi. I don't wanna scare her, yoi."

'She sounds like me almost, yoi.' Marco thought.

"But....if anyone touches them, I'm gonna beat them up, yoi." Pearl adds.

'And thats when she turns into her Mother, yoi. I remember the last girl Pearl really liked, she was sent to the Principal's office for stabbing a blunt pencil, and getting it stuck in someone's wrist, yoi. That kid had to go to the hospital, and Kira was proud..it was kinda scary, yoi.'

Marco hums, "Just don't get yourself in trouble for it, yoi." Pearl giggles, her blue & red eyes flashing, "Oh, I won't, trust me Dad, yoi."
