(A/N: I don't know why, but I kinda feel like writing a Itami one shot????? In this, Creed is 7 while Alice is 5)

Third pov

Outside, Creed & Alice helped their Mother with hanging their washing out. The wind delicately blew through their hair. Creed looked over to Itami, and blushed. He had always thought that his Mother was beautiful. There were moments where he couldn't help but just sit & stare at her. No matter the circumstance she was in, she had always managed to just be naturally beautiful. It was pretty crazy.

Once Creed hung his sheet up, he waddled over to his Mother, and tugged on her shirt. "Mama..." Creed called, "I wanna touch your hair." Itami looked down at him, and his blush grew, "Really? What a peculiar request..." she picked him up with no trouble, and he immediately started to play with her soft, wavy brown hair. "What does peculiar mean, Mama?" Alice chirped, staring up at Itami. Itami hummed, "Hmm..let me see...peculiar, it is another way of saying weird, or strange, if I recall." Alice nods, and carries on with hanging up a little sock that belonged to her. "Now Creed, you need to help your sister." Itami reminded. Creed hugged Itami longer, "But Mama! I wanted to hug you because you look like a princess!" he cried, hugging her tighter, and burying his face in her hair.

'Oh god...his grip is so strong! I sometimes forget that they hold the Shinigami DNA.'

Itami sighed, "But you know, when you & Alice become pirates, you're going to need to help each other out." Creed pouted, "I know but..." he looked at her, "but I love hugging you, you smell nice, and your hair is pretty, and I feel happy when I'm with you." Itami blushed, and chuckled, kissing his forehead, "You've always been such a kind, good boy, Creedence." Creed pouts, "Creeeeeeeed! Just Creeeeeed!" Itami laughed, "You're so funny." Creeds pout increased, "Mama.."

"Mama is right, Creed." Ace called as he walked outside. Creed tilts his head in confusion, "About what, Dad?" he asked. "About helping your sister out." Ace answers as Itami put Creed down. "After all, when your Mother & I used to be pirates, we used to help each other out heaps. We never left each other alone in a fight, and, we never left until the enemy is gone." Ace explained. Creed got sparkles in his eyes, "Really~?! Thats so cool~!" he cheered. Ace grinned childishly, "So, what are you & Alice gonna do when you're big tough pirates facing baddies?" Ace asked. Alice held Creeds hand, "We're gonna stay together!" Creed answered full of confidence.

Ace sneakily looked over to Itami, and grinned at her. Itami smiled a gentle smile, which lead into a giggle. "Mama, Dada, when did you two meet~?" Alice asked. Ace blushed, and scratched the back of his neck, "Thats..ah....hmm..." Itami bursted out laughing, which made Ace groan. "Eh? Why's Mama laughing?" Creed asked. "Oh god, don't tell them, Itami!" Ace begged. Itami shot Ace a playfully evil look, "Stop me." Ace pouted, while Creed huffed, "Well? How did you guys meet?" he asked. "Oh oh! Did you guys meet in a biiiiig pretty flower field?" Alice asked. "Or in the ocean!?!?" Creed asked. Ace sighed, "I wish we met in a flower field." Itami rolled her eyes. "Hmmm...I can remember clearly about the day that we met." Itami hummed.

'Of course she'd remember..' Ace mentally thought with a smile.

"Dad & I met on a great, powerful ship, that was captained by a tremendous man! His name was Whitebeard, people shivered when they heard his name, ya know?" Itami explained. Creed's eyes dazzled, "No way!" "Mmmhmm! I was there before your Dad. We had met two years after I had joined. When we first met..we were actually enemies." Itami admitted. "Whaaaat~!" Alice squealed. "But...but!" Creed stammered. "Buuuut, we managed to patch things up with each other, and we became great friends. When we met, Dad kept on trying to kill me, but.." Itami chuckled with a sense of superiority, "I was stronger, and always beat him!" Creed probably would've had his eyes coming out of his eyes by now if it weren't for eye sockets. "But, we ran into some trouble..and a evil woman came, and tried to steal your Dad away from me. I was so sad..I really thought that we weren't meant to be..but we talked..and eventually.." Itami smiled, "We kissed, and made up." Ace finished, a blush on his face.

"Ah, but there's more!" Itami chimed. "Your Father & I...took part in a big war. Later on in life, you kids might here it as either 'The War of the Strongest' or 'The Marineford War'. What happened..was that a evil man had committed a heinous crime in the Whiteboard pirates, and Dad had set off to kill him for revenge..but..Dad had been defeated, and he was taken to the baddies, where they would kill him. I was originally not supposed to be there but...I just had to be there so that I could see him again. He had been gone for so long..it was hard. I didn't know whether or not we'd even bring him back alive. So...I went against my orders, and took part in the war. We managed to escape with your Dad in tow..but so many people had died, including our captain. It was hard..but we all got by. That was..until eventually.." Itami showed her children her wedding ring, "Dad asked me if I wanted to marry him." Alice gasped, and cooed, while Creed smiled. Itami chuckled, "Heh...you can image what my answer would be, ya know? Oh the wedding....it was perfect."

The three family members couldn't help but watch Itami's every move. She even made breathing look like a art. They all smiled, Ace being the brightest. Itami stopped laughing, and stared at all of them with a confused look on her face, "What are you all staring at?" she asked. Immediately, all three of them got a big blush, and averted their eyes from Itami. Itami blinked a couple times. "What...?" she stuttered. "Well..." Creed sighed, "WE THINK YOU'RE BEAUTIFUL!" He yelled. Because of the sudden outburst, Creed clamped his hands over his mouth. His face became beet red.

'BAKAAAAAAAAA~!'

Itami giggled, before she let out a loud hearty laugh. They all sat there in embarrassment as Itami laughed out loud. Eventually she calmed down, and smiled, "You're all so cute!"
