Timeless - Mark Tuan

Summary

Arnisa was born in the early years of the 1700s. Her father, the youngest brother of the 'Royals', took his own life when she was still in her mother's womb, to protect his wife and his unborn child from his brother and other witches and warlocks who wanted his blue flame. 

Arnisa's mother ran far away after that, finding refuge in a small village who never heard of the Royals. After giving birth to Arnisa, she found out that she was sick and dying. To be able to live long enough to protect her, she used men to keep her alive. 

In the Prologue, Arnisa ran away from home because she was disgusted of what her mom was doing. She wasn't aware of her illness and hated her. She thought her mother was a whore. 

She lived in a village with Mako where she was able to hone her powers. Because she still didn't know of her origin, she used her powers freely. That's when some witches and warlocks knew that she's a blue flame. 

Starting from that time, she's been hunted by the likes of Lady Ealasaid and Jinyoung without her knowledge. 

She fell in love with a man for the very first time when she saw Luke. She seduced him and had sex with him, which made Gillian, who was already pregnant with Luke's child, cast a spell on her after Gillian unconsciously killed Luke because of her rage towards the girl. The spell was for her to live forever and that every man she would love would die with her own power. That's where the story begins. 

She fell in love with another man, Cedric, who burned to death when she told him she loves him. And another with Benedict, who also died the same way. 

She fled to Korea and met Mark who resembled her first love, Luke, not knowing at first that Mark came from the same bloodline. At that time, Lady Ealasaid and Jinyoung were already working on their plan, separately. When Lady E found out that Jinyoung had the girl, she flew to Korea, not wanting to lose to Jinyoung. Mark didn't know of what he was capable of in this timeline.

When Arnisa finds out about Mark being a descendant of Luke, it was already too late for her to back out because she realized she's fallen in love with him, too. The only way to save Mark from dying like her other lovers, was to go back to the past and change it, which Lady E and Jinyoung also planned out because they couldn't get Arnisa because of Mark. 

 So, another lifetime starts from when Luke discovered her on the tree. The whole story changed because she didn't seduce Luke this time around. Instead, she ran away. Jinyoung was so close to getting her, but she was able to hide in the city with Lady E who took her in. Arnisa thought it was just a coincidental meet up, but Lady E was actually really waiting for her to run to her arms. She tried to control Arnisa's powers so the other wouldn't locate them. 

Lady E almost got what she wanted when Jinyoung came back to the picture. After learning where she was, he forcefully took her. Arnisa was happy staying with him because Jinyoung treated her well. Jinyoung found out that he was slowly falling for the girl he intended to kill.

In the future of this time, Mark had dreamed of Arnisa and wanted to find the girl. This time, he found out about that he was a warlock earlier, when he was eighteen. He met Bam and Youngjae who were helping Lady E to find Arnisa when Jinyoung took her. A coincidence allowed Mark to see the girl he was looking for, who is also the same girl that Bam and Youngjae were trying to find. 

Here, Mark found out that Jinyoung was his great uncle and that if he didn't do anything to stop him, Jinyoung would be marrying Arnisa and that she'd die before Mark was even born. That's why, Mark did all he can to let Arnisa go to the future with him.

Because of their mutual love for each other, Arnisa followed him in the future, leaving Jinyoung behind. 

But, the happy ending they both wanted didn't come for them in that lifetime. Because Jinyoung followed the girl to the future and took him back with him to the past, threatening her that he'd kill Mark's family if she didn't. If you've noticed, Gillian was friendly to Arnisa because the seduction didn't happen. She was the one who informed Arnisa about her being a Royal. 

When they went back, Arnisa found out of the true intentions of Lady E and Jinyoung. To avoid that, she went back to the past again and change it. 

The story begins again when Arnisa was still a little girl, the time when she ran away from home when she saw her mom having sex with a man near the river. She changed that so the girl would go back to her mom instead of running to another village. So, here, she didn't meet Mako.

In that lifetime, she found out about her origin, her powers and why her mom did what she did. Because she was able to learn more about her real power and use it to its fullest, she saw bits and pieces, but not everything, of what happened in the other lifetimes that should've happened if she didn't change them. She lived with her mother until she was eighteen and then went on her own after her mother died. Because she needed to protect herself, she only had a short encounter with Lady E. Arnisa immediately saw what the woman wanted from her. 

She started dreaming about Mark when she was eighteen and from that time on she lived with the sole purpose of finding him. She stayed as she was for centuries. And, just like the first lifetime, she found Mark in Korea. 

Lady E was already desperate, she knew Arnisa would be going to Korea for Mark. So, before that happened, she got to Mark first, casting a spell on him. The spell was for Mark to follow her orders if she commanded him. Lady E tried to hide that spell deep down inside Mark so other witches, most especially Arnisa, wouldn't know that it was there. She didn't get closer to Mark after that night. She waited for the time that Arnisa arrived. 

Lady E only came back when Arnisa was there. She didn't expect what happened though. She didn't expect Arnisa to use her powers at Mark, she didn't know Arnisa would try to take her own life either. Also, she didn't expect Jinyoung to be there. For all she knew, Jinyoung already gave up on it because of his love for the girl. 

Jinyoung being there and trying to help the girl destroyed Lady E's plans. She gathered the army she prepared just for this purpose and advanced to where the girl was. 

At this moment, Arnisa unconsciously shared her powers to Mark while they were having sex. Not knowing that Jinyoung was really there to help, Mark and Arnisa escaped from him and gathered their friends for an attack against Lady E and Jinyoung. 

Because they don't want to be separated again, Mark and Arnisa agreed on killing the two before they get to them. 

Lady E was ready with her army when Arnisa's group got to her. It was what Lady E was waiting for. Her chance to order Mark to destroy the girl once and for all and for her to take her powers. 

But, Jinyoung again, came to the rescue. He knew that with the blue flame Mark possessed, Mark could kill Arnisa. Of course he didn't want to see the girl he loves dying. Since Lady E was the one who cast the spell on Mark, he couldn't remove it. So, instead, he absorbed the spell from Mark and transferred it to himself. 

Jinyoung, now under Lady E's spell, tried to attack Arnisa, but Mark got on the way, taking the warlock's attack. 

Mark knew that Arnisa was already weakening, so he channeled all his remaining energy to the girl to help her kill Lady E and Jinyoung once and for all, even though he thought he'd lose his own life. 

Everybody thought Mark wouldn't live. But, because of the new power he possessed he was able to survive. 

And they lived happily ever after.
