When Leo ditched Calypso, she was not going to lie. It kind of hurt. Yes he had to go and he didn't want her to get hurt, but she loved his company. they could've got away.
Stop you wimp. she said to her self. Be strong, he just needs to get out of his...sticky situation.
"Why are you wearing Leo t-shirt?" Piper asked as they strolled through camp towards her cabin.
"Uh...how do you know it's his?" Calypso said her face bright red.
"I just know..." Piper said looking back and winking. Calypso's face must of been a confused face because Piper just smiled and rolled her eyes. "One, it smells like him. Two, it has oil stains...like all of Leo's shirts."
"Oh..." Calypso said. Her face was probably beat red.
"Don't be embarrassed! I wear Jason's shirts all the time!" She laughed. Calypso didn't know what to think of this girl. at first she was stern then she funny. Most of all she wasn't anything like her sisters and brothers, she didn't care what she looked like, and yet she was beautiful still. She was really confusing Calypso.
Piper started at the sky, squinting in the sun, but she looked at it like something would drop down and eat us whole. All of the sudden something flew above us followed by screaming, buff kids carrying hammers. Piper laughed and they continued to walk as in silence.
"Leo's right..." Piper said finally as they arrived at there cabin. "It's waaaayyy too hot for jeans! You can borrow a pair of mine until we take you shopping...well Leo takes you, I hate shopping." Piper said taking a pair of 'shorts' out of her bag. "try these on."
Calypso went to the many changing stations in the cabin she was about to come out when she heard talking.
"Is she really in here?!?!" Said a girls with a squeaky voice "She stole my man! She is going to get it! Goddess or not!"
"Calm down Marcy! Leo was bit 'your man' anyway! Besides Leo said Callie and pull wicked magic." Piper said.
Oh Calypso got it now. This girl thought she could take Leo from me! Ha! She thought. she felt angry boil inside. She calmed her self and walked out of the changing cabin.
"These shorts fit well, Piper!" She said hiding her anger. "Whose this?" She asked like she didn't know.
"I'm Marcy." She said gritting her teeth
"The girl whose about to beat you up!" She said charging but Piper held her back. Calypso hid her smile and tried to look frightened.
"Why? what did I do?" Calypso said. Marcy growled.
"You stole Leo from me! He wouldn't talk to me when he was building the Argo II and I thought when he got back we could hang but he went into a coma. After waking up he left to get..." Marcy gestured towards Calypso. "YOU!"
Calypso pondered her next move, but she couldn't help but laughing. "Well I'm sorry about that...but you sound like you want to challenge me?"
"Yes." Marcy said eyes full of determination. Piper tried to say something but Marcy pushed her off. "Your no challenge to me. Nymph." Maybe Marcy thought she was going to be outraged but Calypso simply laughed.
"Now is that a smart idea...?" Calypso said. Her magic started to form. The colorful mist started to spin and twirl around her. Marcy started to back away. Piper stood smiling. "Now, now...Im more powerful than you think. I am not just a normal nymph! I am a goddess! Daughter of Atlas! I have strong beautiful powers! I-"
"Ok! I get it!" Marcy said and turned to leave but Calypso made her stop when she said.
"Stay away from Leo. He loves me and he will all ways be mine. He is my hero." An with that Marcy left.
"That. was. amazing!" Piper said. Looking at her with awe and laughing. "Sorry about that by the way...annoying little sisters."
"Don't worry!" Calypso said waving it off. "The cons of dating Leo Valdez.." This got a 5 minute laugh out of Piper and her. It felt good to have a best friend. She has never had one before.
After laughing Calypso wiped tears out of her eyes. "Well now I have to take care of a problem."
"What's that?" Piper said trying to contain her giggles.
"Some certain siblings of Leo's need a good scaring."
"Oh! that's going to be fun!" Piper said standing up and offering her hand. "Mind if I join in?"
Calypso laughed and took pipers hand letting her lift her to a standing position. "I would be delighted!"
