Leo had never seen Calypso so excited. It was Christmas Eve and she couldn't sleep.
"Calypso please just go to sleep." He need her to sleep so he could put the tree up and surprise her.
"I can't! The idea of Christmas excites me too much!" Leo shook his head and sat up. Calypso bounced up and down. Leo picked her up and scooped her in his lap.
"You need to calm down." Leo said. Calypso wiggled in his lap. Gosh she was so cute when she got excited. Like a couple nights ago when they watched Tangled. She got excited when Eugene came back to life.
"I can't! I-" She said. Leo pulled her into a kiss she stopped squirming, relaxing into the kiss. "Mmh hmm." Calypso said trying to talk and kiss.
"Calm?" Leo asked as he pulled away.
"Hm. Another kiss and a song should do." She said. Pulling him into a kiss. A few kisses and humming later, Calypso finally fell asleep. Leo laid her down and started getting stuff out. He glanced back. She looked so peaceful when she sleeps.
Leo put up the Christmas tree up with a big smile on his face.

"Finally." Leo whispered. He finally finished the tree and put her presents. He had about five. He made all but two of them. He bought her and necklace of a sun, decorated with multicolored diamonds. He also bought her a camera. Gosh it cost so much money, but totally worth it.
Calypso rolled and mumbled in her sleep. Leo went and laid next to her, he didn't sleep though. He looked at the way the light bounced on the metal walls. Then he turned his focus towards Callie. She slept so peacefully and sometimes she smiled. After a while her eyes fluttered open.
"Morning, sunshine." Leo said. Her face lite up like, well, a Christmas tree.
"ITS CHRISTMAS!" She said. sitting up. "We sho-" she stopped when she saw the tree. "gods...Leo did you..."
"Yes." He got up and so did Calypso. "Merry Christmas." He said and kissed her, gently on the lips. Her lips were so soft.
"Gods, Leo this is so sweet. I didn't get you anything...I-" Leo kissed her again.
"You don't have to get me anything. All you have to do is love me and I'll be fine." Calypso smiled.
"Can I open my gifts now?" Calypso asked. Leo nodded and made her sit down. He handed her the biggest one first.
"Here you are." Leo said handing it to her and sitting in front of her. She looked at him funny. She unwrapped the gift.
"Oh gods Leo..." It was a big bird house that he made in wood shop class. "It's so pretty."
"It's a bird house. You hang it out side and birds live in it." Leo explained. "Hopefully I won't scare them away." Calypso smiled.
"Yes let's hope that doesn't happen. Thank you."
"Next!" Leo said handing her a thick square present.
"A blank book?"
"It will make sense in a little bit. I made that too." Calypso smiled and set it next to the bird house.
"Next, hero."
"Here. I think you'll like this one."
"I like all of them hero." She said taking the small box. It was the mechanical flower just like the other one except it was silver.
"I told you I'd make you one." Calypso shook her head. He handed her the wrapped camera.
"What is this?" She said.
"It's a camera. Here say cheese."
"What?"
"Just smile." So she did and he snapped a picture. "look." He showed her.
"That's amazing!"
"Once you cameras full of picture we will develop them and you can put them in the book."
"That sounds amazing. Thank you for the gifts. They are all splendid." Leo smiled
"I have one more." Leo said pulling it from behind the tree.
"Leo..." Calypso started.
"Sh. Just open it." She scooting closer to her so their knees touched. She carefully opened the long black box.
"Leo..." She said in awe of the necklace. "It's beautiful."
"Here let me put it on you." Leo said. He took the necklace out of the box. He reached around her.
"You didn't have too." Calypso said as Leo clipped the necklace. "Get me all these gifts I mean."
"Well it's your first Christmas of course I did." Leo said holding her face in his hands. "but that's not the only reason."
"What's the other reason?"Calypso asked. Leo pursed his lips.
"I love you." Leo finally said. " That's the other reason." Calypso pulled Leo into a hug. She smelled like cinnamon and peppermint. Leo was about to rant about how much he loved her when Calypso kissed him.
"I love you too." She said after finally pulling away.
"I know what you can give me." Leo smirked, Calypso started playing with the necklace.
"What's that?"
"A few more kissed till someone bangs on the door telling us to get up."
"Sounds good to me."
