It wasn't hard to make Chiron agree. At first he protested but Leo makes good points.
"I never get to go anywhere!" He said. "I'm always stuck in this camp, which isn't bad, but she wants to see the outside world. You may be able to stop me but you can't stop her."
Chiron thought for a little until saying "Fine, but take the one of the cars. You can drive Festus everywhere." Leo was going to protest but, he said yes Leo it's not a long drive.
"Ok. Man I'm going to work on Festus and make him a turn into a scooter." He mumbled as he left. Calypso sat on the porch looking at the rising sun sparkle on the dew. "Did you get a jacket?" Leo asked making her turn towards him and smile.
"Yes." she said pulling it out from underneath. Pipers old snowboarding jacket. Calypso stood and she put it on. She looked so good in jeans. Focus Leo. But she's pretty. I know shut up. "Is something wrong? Does it not look good?" Leo realized he was making a dour face.
"Oh, no! it looks great. That's the problem. Someone might think that I'm paying you to hold my hand." Leo said. Calypso laughed and kissed him on the noes.
"No ones going to think that hot stuff. Now when we are out you better get stuff to make me a loom. I want to make more shorts and jackets."
"Yeah...yeah..." Leo said as they walked to the back to...ugh...the cars. Leo hated cars. Motion sickness. Leo hoped in the drivers seat. "Maybe on day I'll teach you how to drive."
"That would be nice because you look awfully nervous." She commented. Leo gripped the wheel white knuckled. He loosened his grip.
"I get noting sick. I should be fine, it's not a long drive." He pulled out. Driving wasn't a problem, he was naturally good at anything with machines. It was like Hazel's sea sickness. He felt like he need to barf and he was just pulling out of the woods.
"Wow." Calypso said looking at the skyscrapers "They are so tall. Did the gods make these?"
"No. Mostly mortals." Leo said focusing on the road. "They are huge aren't they."
"Yes. can we go in one?"
"Most are offices. We could go to the top floor of the Empire State Building. Not Olympus but the top were mortals go they take picture and enjoy the view. We'll go after shopping."
"Ok!" Calypso said jumping up and down in her seat.

Clothes and supply shopping weren't bad. Calypso need only a few things to use as prototypes when she makes he clothes. I bought the things for the look and put them in the van. We bought like 50 different types of string and a lot of colors. They ran into problems when they got to the grocery store.
"Whey are all these foods so expensive?" Calypso asked. Leo shrugged. "What about the people with out money...the...?"
"Hobos?" Leo finished. "I don't exactly know, maybe the same way I did when I was running. Sometimes I begged. Other times I stole from trash cans."
"That's horrible." Calypso said. she went and picked up some gardening seeds. "when he open our shop everyone should be able to buy, money or no money." She looked at Leo, eyes filled with furry "Understand?"
"Understood Mam! What will you do while our shop is being built?" Leo asked. Calypso grabbed a ton of stuff, way more than they needed.
"We are going to make more than mew need and give it to them." Calypso said. She was so cute when she was angry.
"I'm cool with that. I know how those guys feel."

When they walked outside it was snowing. Calypso dropped her bags and ran out into the open taking in the snow. "This is so cool!" Leo scrambled picking up the bags. "This is that...evil witches work!?"
"Yes. Now remember, snow is pretty when you look at it but cold and cruel when you touch it." He warned. "Now let's get to the car, it's kinda far." Calypso took some of the bags and they started to walk. Half way to the car Calypso started to shiver.
"Y-y-you're right. I-I-It's c-cold." Leo smiled and set down his bags. He took off his jacket and put it on Calypso's shoulders.
"There. Better?" He asked picking up his bags.
"Yes, but won't you be cold?" She said. "Because we are almost there so I can deal..." She started to take it off.
"Nah. I'll be fine. I'm always at a hot and steamy temperature of 108, I'm never cold."
"Is it not normal to be that hot?" Calypso asked swinging her bags as they walked.
"In good looks or temperature?" Leo asked. Calypso laughed. "No, people are usually 98 degrees, Fahrenheit."
"What's fah-ran-heat?" Calypso asked trying to pronounce it. Leo laughed as they walked up to the car.
"I'll teach you later." He opened her door. "My lady." He bowed.
"Thank you, kind sir." She said stepping into the car. Leo shut the door.
Leo didn't usually like shopping but that was the best thing he had ever done.
