School pasted by with angry glares from Jaci but he made friends with that mortal girl Amy. Finally after two weeks or so it was winter break.
"Can't I drive with my mom?" Jaci asked. "My mom knows about the Gods and Goddesses she cou-"
"No." They all said. Jaci angrily sighed and got in the front seat. The four of them piled in the back.
Piper feel asleep on Jason's shoulder and Percy tried to calm him down. "What's wrong with him?" Jaci asked from the front.
"Motion sickness." Percy said. "Leo, calm down." Leo felt like he was going to hurl.
"Any one have a bag?" Argus glared at Leo with his shoulder eye. "kidding?"
"Leo try sleeping." Jason said, cuddling up to Piper.
"That sounds excellent." Leo said sitting back and relaxing. He couldn't fall asleep but at least closing his eyes helped.
After a long silence Jaci mumbled to her self. "I wonder if he was lying to me..."
"What?" Percy said.
"Oh, I didn't know you were awake. I was just wondering if Leo was lying to me when he said his mom died."
Percy was quite. He shook me a little knowing I was awake. I opened one eye and nodded, telling him it was ok to tell. "He wasn't. She really did die when he was eight."
"I don't want to sound like I'm pushing but...how?" Jaci asked slowly. Percy explained how Gaea appeared, scared Leo, fire, building collapsed, Leo lived but his mother did not. "Oh. So Leo killed his mother." Leo flinched. All his life he told himself that, but hearing it from another person hurt.
"No! If you saw Gaea when you were a kid, and had fire powers, than that's what would happen. Now if it were-" Percy flinched beside him. Leo knew he was thinking of Tartarus. It happened quite a bit.
"Percy...is something-"
"No it's fine. Anyway, Leo really doesn't like Gaea. No one does, but Leo the most. Durning the war-"
"They're was a war?" Jaci asked astonished.
"Yeah, the giant war. Anyway, after all the battling was done we found Leo, he must of been battling because he was hurt pretty bad. We healed him, but he was trapped in a coma. When he woke up he was really stunned. He said he had a dream, of his life and it scared him to be back were he started. So he wouldn't talk for like a month. Sometime he built, but no talking." As Percy talked Leo felt a sharp pain in the back of his head. He saw images flash, like he was trying to remember but couldn't. Then Leo feel asleep.

In his dream he stood in a cave. Another Leo walked in, scratches covered him. "Well, well." Said a sleepy voice. Gaea.
"Hello, dirt face." Other Leo said. He stumbled into the cave towards a heart made if dirt and bark.
"Come to see what will destroy the world? Come spill your blood for me, let me awaken."
"Not gonna happen dirt face. How about we play with fire." Dream Leo place his hands on the heart, dirt covered his hands. Then the whole thing burst into flames. Gaea screamed in pain.
"Doing this will kill you!" She sobbed in pain. "What about your dear Calypso?"
"Then I'll just be another hero that went to her island, and didn't keep his promise." The cave shook, Gaea gave one final scream before the cave erupted. "I'm sorry Calypso." Dream Leo said as the cave fell in top of him.

"Leo!" Piper said shaking him. "will you stop screaming." Leo sat upright.
"What's the matter?" Jason asked.
"Dreams." Leo said shakily "Horrible dreams."
"Hey, It's ok. Want to tell us?" Piper said taking his hand. Leo squeezed, in a thank you way. Suddenly it made sense. That wasn't a dream but a memory.
"I remember." He said, feeling worse than car sick. "I remember what happened." Leo looked out the window, still in the city.
"Remember? You mean the war?" Percy asked. Leo looked in the front. Jaci was sleeping thank goodness.
"Yes." Leo told them what happened. The heart, the cave, every single word.
"Leo you do know what this means?" Percy said. "You destroyed Gaea, not the gods, you. That makes you pretty powerful."
"Storm or fire the world must fall." Piper said. They all looked like weight was taken off their shoulders. After a long silence Piper said. "Well let's not dawn on it. We are almost there. Ready to see Calypso? You know, the one you didn't break your promise to?"
Leo laughed. "Yes I remember." Argus pulled into the woods. Leo wanted to jump out and run the rest of the way but sadly he couldn't, he felt to sick. Finally they pulled into camp.
He saw Calypso sitting on the hill talking with a few other girls. The car parked and Leo jumped out after Piper and Jason. Calypso stood smiling when she saw him.
"Hey sunshine!" He said pulling her into a hug. Enjoying her natural smell of cinnamon. "Gods I missed you." He said kissing her forehead. She frowned. "What?"
"You didn't give me a real kiss." She said. Leo smiled. His lips connected with hers. It washed away the nausea better than it did with ambrosia.
"Better?" Leo asked as they pulled away. Calypso bit her lip, smiling.
"Maybe one more?" She asked. Leo smiled and kissed the tip of her perfect noes.
"Later." He said pulling some hair out of her face.
"Promise?"
"Always." he said. She laughed that clear happy laugh. Leo didn't care about anything right now but her.
He loves her.
