Chapter 34: We Had To Be Safe...

We were hiding in this house. Will nor I could leave the house as the police were after us. What Alex did was wrong and he shouldn't have locked us up, but the police had no proof of that, but they had somehow known that Will shot Alex.

We were on the run, I feel so bad. Like I was on the run and my parents and Abbi were still on thier holiday. They were meant to return tomorrow... to this.

I wanted to know who was behind all of this. What sort of a person is sick enough to trap the whole town and neighboring towns in Large spaces behind bars basically.

I sat next to Will and cuddled up to his chest, just focusing on his heart. My boyfriend. The boy I was falling for.

"I love you Will" I whispered to myself.

"I love you too baby" he kissed my forehead.

I snuggled closer until we heard a knock on the door. Will and I locked at each other and he picked me up and ran up the stairs with me in his arms. We had to be safe just in case.

Justin went down and answered the door.

We could faintly hear what they were saying from our hiding spot.

We heard something about how they were officers and looking for a 18ish year old boy with a girl about the same age. And asked if they had been here and blah blah blah.

I was scared, what if they came in and found us. What would they do to Will? Would he be charged for murder? I could literally crap my pants, that's how scared I am.

I cuddled in closer to Will, placing my head on his chest as he put on arm around my waist while the other stroked my hair.

I could hear Will whispering comforting words into my ear, and telling me how it will all be ok.

Will snuck us into the closest room and we sat there in the dark. I was curled up in his lap while he continued to play with my hair, it was quite relaxing.

We heard the door close and Justin ran upstairs.

He came into the room we were in and turned the light on.

"Okay, so the police are out looking for you two and they know they are close, so you probably only have a few days to work this out. They want Will cause of murder on Alex even though they don't know what he did to you. They are also after Ari because she is the only witness and they can make her speak"

We thought about what Justin said for a minute and then nodded our heads slowly taking all that information in.

Justin then called everyone downstairs to the lounge room to talk about it all.

"So guys, the police are looking for Will to charge him with murder and Ari because she is the only witness and they can make her talk, we need to find a way around this"

Zack stood up, "I have an idea"

Everyone looked at him.

"Ari are you willing to do anything to save Will" he looked at me sincerity in his eyes.

"Absolutely anything" I stared back.

"This will sound crazy..." he dragged on. I was getting anxious. Could he hurry up and spill. Everyone was on the edge of thier chairs waiting for what he will say next.

"You two need to get married"

"WHAT" Will and I yelled back together. We all shared a look.

"I'll explain, so if you two marry, they can't question Ari as she will be your wife and she was the only witness, boy you would be questioned"

I consider it. I would do anything to help Will, I couldn't let this happen to him he couldn't be put behind bars, not at 18 after all Alex has done.

"I will do it for Will" I stare straight into his eyes.

"No baby, don't do anything do me, I shot him you can't just give up the rest of your life just to save me, what if you change your mind, as in love with you as I am I don't want you to regret this. We can wait to get married. We have only been dating for like 2 days, this is moving so fast. One day I'll propose to you and it will be beautiful and after all this is solved we can get married so it is all nice and the perfect wedding"

"No Will, we just do it now, you will be safer, we can have a nice wedding later, just do it for your safety. I love you I will do this for you. Please so you can be safer, it will make me feel better"

He let out a breath at me and just stared, along with all the others who wouldn't stop looking at us.

"Wait..." Brooke called out, "here, we had this all planned" she then handed a box to Will.

He got down on one knee and opened the box.
